Director Vishnuvardhan known for films like Pattiyal, Billa and Arrambam is currently directing Yaatchan with Arya & his brother Kreshna. The stylish director recently took part in Koffee with DD along with his brother.

In the above show, Vishnuvardhan was asked to name one recent film which he felt was boring, Vishnuvardhan named A.L.Vijay's Saivam a film which performed decently at the box office. Director A.L Vijay is currently directing an untitled flick with Vikram Prabhu.

Vishnuvardhan reveals a Surprising information on Thala's Billa !

Director Vishnuvardhan will forever be remembered for his Billa legacy with Thala Ajith, The ace director in a recent interview spilled out some surprising facts on the movie, Here is the extract from the interaction

"I never wanted to make that film. It was actually Ajith’s idea. I had worked with Ajith in Asoka, where he played the villain opposite Shah Rukh. I had made two to three films in Tamil by then, and he met me and suggested that we make a film together. But I didn’t have a script ready. We kept meeting and one day he said, ‘Why don’t you remake Don?’ I straightaway told him if he was out of his mind!

Don was first made with Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. Then it was remade in Tamil with Rajinikanth. And by that time, Farhan Akhtar had also made another version with SRK in the lead. But Ajith convinced me to do it and, trust me, expectations from that film were rocket high! I was aware that comparisons would be made, but I decided to use a different kind of treatment. I shot the whole film abroad to focus solely on the film and luckily for me, the film rocked the box office."

Arrambam Goes Bollywood ?

If reports are to believed, Director Vishnuvardhan is all set for Bollywood, The Billa director who is currently directing Yatchan with Arya and his brother Kreshna in the lead will reportedly direct a Hindi Film next. 

According to source as reported in Times of India  "Vishnu has been holding talks with some of the top stars in Bollywood. However, this has nothing to do with the three Khans.He has already had a couple of meetings with them and is likely to firm up the deal shortly. An official announcement can be expected soon in this regard.Vishnu has been mulling over the idea right from the time of Aarambam. Now, the deal is almost done." 

Vishnuvardhan previously worked as an assistant director to Santosh Sivan for a period of 7 Years in Bollywood.  There were earlier reports that Vishnu might direct the Bollywood remake of his Thala starrer Arrambam, With reports now confirming that Vishnu is indeed heading to Bollywood, The question is whether the movie is indeed Arrambam ?

As SS Music earlier reported there was a buzz that Director Shankar will be adapting writers duo Subha's Yatchan for the big screen with Vijay Sethupathi and Siva Karthikeyan playing the leads. Reports now suggest that Billa director Vishnuvardhan will be directing the project with Arya and his brother Kreshna.

Sources add the film will be a lighthearted comedy, The Pooja for the untitled film was held yesterday.

Nayanthara's Request to Delete Her Hot Scene

Here is a less known information on Thala's record breaking Arrambam. It's said that a steamy sequence featuring Nayanthara was deleted from the movie as per the actress request. The Mallu beauty who is still on comeback trail already scorched the screens with her sexy clad out bathroom costume in the movie. 

It is reported that there was another steamy sequence in the movie featuring Nayanthara. Few assistant directors who saw the first cut of the movie advised Nayan that the scene was too steamy and it would tarnish the Homely actress image of hers. The scene in question was several times glamour filled than the sequence featured in the movie.

Nayan who feared for her loss of image immediately approached Vishnu Vardhan and requested him to delete the sequence. Vishnu who understood Nayan's point of view deleted the sequence in question. Nayanthara is now accepting only those acting oriented roles rather than just the glam filled ones.

King Khan is who currently shooting for his Upcoming flick "Happy New Year" recently caught up with Director Vishnuvardhan. The duo have worked together when Vishnuvardhan was the associate of Santhosh Sivan while SRK was doing Ashoka in 2001 which also had Thala Ajith.

The duo shared some nostalgic moments about Ashoka and Shah Rukh also mentioned that he had loved the trailer of Ajith starrer Arrambam though he hasn't watched the movie yet. Sources Add Vishnuvardhan next could be a Bollywood flick which could very well be an Arrambam remake..

Vishnuvardhan Answers if Ajith was Disappointed with Arrambam

There was buzz going around in K-Town after several dailies reported that Ajith had expressed his dissatisfaction after watching Arrambam and was also very upset with the scene where he holds a ironbox over a baby, Reports added furthermore that Ajith had decided not to do such negative roles.

However Director Vishnuvardhan in a interview to a leading portal has thrashed these rumours. The Director said after watching the movie Ajith had hugged him and thanked him for giving one of the best films of his career. Vishnuvardhan added Ajith sir's family also watched the movie and they loved it too. 

In regard to the iron box scene, Vishnu revealed that the scene was already mentioned in the script and if Ajith sir didn't like it, he wouldn't have done it.

Vishnuvardhan reveals Why We all Love Ajith

The much wanted Director Vishnuvardhan just days before the release of the magnum opus Arrambam revealed some interesting buzzers on the Thala flick. 

Here are some excerpts from the interview 

"We were clear that Ajith wouldn't be wearing suits in this film and we gave him everyday costumes that all of us wear. V neck T shirts symbolize a man who is macho and has a certain beastly nature. Ajith loved it and he carried this costume beautifully. It suited him perfectly and anyway the man is stunning."

Regarding the much talked about leg injury, Director Vishnuvardhan said "The morning after his injury, he was back on the sets, with his knee tightly bound, and he completed the shot. Ajith said that he can't keep the entire unit waiting for him. Even, the ortho specialist that we consulted asked Ajith to return home at once. Stunt master Lee Whittaker was stunned by this level of commitment and said that even Hollywood stars would have thrown some tantrums. That's why he is Ajith and that's why you all love him"

The Stylish Director Vishnuvardhan has recently revealed that he is continuously working with Thala Ajith and Arya because more than his actors they are also very good friends to him. The director recently revealed his ambitions to direct Thala in Bollywood and Hollywood. 

The director did also mention that he would like to work with Vijay and Suriya for his future projects. There were even some rumors that Vishnuvardhan might be the director for Vijay-Aascar Ravichandran project which has been agreed upon. However Vishnu is currently involved in the post production of Arrambam and will reveal his next project post the completion of the film.

The Man of Mass & Class Thala Ajith Kumar's current two movies are still officially untitled. Last week there were rumors of Thala 54 with Siruthai Siva being titled as "Vinayagam Brothers", however the title seemed rather unlikely after Vidyu Raman who is part of the movie cast, rubbished it off as a rumor. 

Then came the reports of Thala 53 being titled as "Ucham Nee", but this time neither the crew nor the cast of Thala 53 denied nor confirmed the report, they remained tight lipped when the title went viral over all forms of social media. However Thala fans were quick to express their discontent over the title, though some fans preferred the title some felt Valai was far better title than this.

Let's hope the mystery over Thala 53 and Thala 54 is uncovered soon.
