Raaana is Kochdaiyaan's Son - Soundarya Rajinkanth

As SS Music earlier reported Soundarya Rajinkanth has officially confirmed that 'Raana' is indeed connected to 'Kochadaiyaan'. Here are some of the interesting information about the movie Soundarya Rajinikanth revealed in a recent interview.

• Kochadaiyaan(Rajinikanth) is basically a War Commander , who is also an exceptional Bharathanatiyam Dancer. There is a scene where Kochadaiyaan will sport a deadly followed by his Classical Abhinayam. Shobanna plays the jodi for Kochadaiyaan Character.

• Raana (Also Rajinikanth) is the son of Kochadaiyaan, who is a hyperactive and jovial guy, He also possesses qualities of a leader, Kochadaiyaan being the Main Hero , he will guide his son in the right path.

• Soundarya promised Kochadaiyaan will be the best role Rajinikanth has done in recent past and Kochadaiyaan will be the milestone in Indian Cinema. Soundarya also hinted upon the possibility to making 'Ponniyin Selvan' next.

Did Soundarya replace K.S Ravikumar with Madhesh ?

Its known fact that K.S Ravikumar was an integral part of Superstar's next Magnum opus 'Kochadaiyaan' , but there were several rumors going around in kollywood that K.S Ravikumar was replaced with Madhesh owing to difference of opinion that had risen between Soundarya and K.S Ravikumar.

However K.S Ravikumar clarified things saying " I am not Dependent on anyone and yes Madhesh was involved, but only during the editing stages, by no stretch of imagination can Madhesh be termed responsible for Kochadaiyaan. Soundarya handled the direction and Animation part, story and screenplay were mine".

KSR is currently busy with the Pre-Production works of another Superstar Starrer 'Rana' and his also working on the script for a sequel to 'Panchathanthiram'.

Kamal Haasan is not my Friend - K.S Ravikumar

K.S Ravikumar in a recent interview revealed that he has finished his work for Kochadaiyaan was over and Rajinikanth has given the approval for 'Rana' schedules to begin, K.S Ravikumar also added that he is planning to do a sequel to 'Panchathathiram'. However when asked if he would cast Kamal Haasan in the sequel, he said as of now no , he also added that he never speaks to Kamal that often and the last time he interacted with the star was during the shooting of 'Manmadhan Ambu'.
K.S Ravikumar is also reported to be working on a script for Vadivelu' s comeback titled 'Africavil Vadivelu'.

Its Official Kochadaiyaan is July release

Kochaidaayan is all set to be July release with the audio launch of movie happening in the month of April.
The movie which bears the credit of being first Indian film to have used full fledged motion capture technology is being made at a budget of 125 crores, also starring the likes of Deepika Padukone, Sarathkumar it's stated for release in Tamil  Telugu , Hindi and in Japanese with film's distribution rights have been sold at record prices.
Dr.Manohar, the film's Co-Producer confirmed the July release to a bollywood magazine, here is what he had to say "July seems a feasible time. We should be done with all the post-production work by April. Actually we've left all the post-production decisions to Studio D. They decided to edit the film down to a playing-time of 2 Hours 5 minutes,"

K.S Ravikumar who is handling the story, screenplay and Direction Supervision for Superstar's Kochadaiyaan gave us exclusive inside on the superstar's Next Phenomenon 'Kochadaiyaan' .
Here is what K.S Ravikumar had to say 
"I and Rajini liked Kochadaiyaan very much, Soundarya has done a fabulous job in directing the movie , these kind of movies take very less much to shoot around 20 days max but the post production takes around 3 months , The film also has classic literature kind of dialogues which have been mouthed stylishly by Superstar, I bet everyone will watch Kochadaiyaan atleast for 5 times."

What did Superstar say Seeing his "Kochadaiyaan" ?

Superstar Rajnikanth's next phenomenon is "Kochadaiyaan" a period film, shot with motion capture in 3D , Which is directed by Soundarya with cinematography handled by Rajiv Menon and background score and soundtrack composed by A.R Rahman. 

The Latest buzz on this movie is that Rajnikanth has seen some of the rushes and is very happy with the movie. Here is what Soundarya had tweeted about the movie 

"One of THE most important days of my life. Kochadaiyan locked :) Appa & ks Ravikumar uncle watched the entire movie and are thrilled ! :) :) :)"

Another Update from the movie is that dubbing and re-recording works for the movie is set to begin from 15th of March simultaneously in London, Hong Kong and Los Angeles.

Shoot commenced in March 2012 in Pinewood Studios, London and was completed in 25 days. Pinewood Studios is famous for Hollywood films like the James Bond series, Harry Potter series, Ironman etc. The next and final schedule commenced in Trivandum shortly after and the entire film shoot was completed by mid 2012.

Its April 5th for Kochadaiyaan

The Emperor of box office is back to strike soon with Kochadaiyaan. The Movie was earlier stated to be a pongal release but due to heavy amount of post production and computer graphics involved, it was postponed. EROS International and Media One Global Entertainment have decided to release the movie in the month of april specifically April 5th. 

Soundarya the youngest daughter of our Superstar is actually the director of the movie had this say regarding the movie release " The film is in its editing stage now , and we've already locked the first half. We're working on the second half of the film now, and recording, sound effect and dubbing will begin from next month".
