Vishal answers reports of Following Rajini's footsteps to Himalayas

Vishal's name has been synonymous with controversies of late, he ran to into trouble with Nadigar Sangam for his comments regarding Vishwaroopam controversy, He was once again involved in a case against Thiru the director of Vishal's last movie 'Samar'. Very recently there was another allegation against Vishal, that he fled to Himalayas to cover up his recent flops. Vishal has come out and replied to this latest allegation against him.

"Normally i don't respond nor care about rumors about me , I want to just address this one issue , There were some reports that i fled to Himalayas as my movies were not being successful, adding to that , there were also some reports, of me following Rajinikanth in these pilgrims to Himalayas, these reports absolutely shocked me. I called up Rajini sir and explained to him that, i would never do anything that would hurt him. It's just my habit to go to Himalayas before my movies release there is nothing else to it".

Thiru, the director of Samar, has openly declared that the production house of a film that released along with Samar tried it's best to stop the release of his film. The tweet is as follows:

The concealed version of the production house name mentioned in his tweet suggests that it indeed points at one of the production houses that released it's film this weekend. Meanwhile, Samar has been getting positive reviews which could take it to the success lane.

It's Jan 13 for Samar!

Samar directed by Thiru with Vishal, Trisha and Sunaina in the lead was in trouble duew to financial issues which almost ruiined it's chances of releasing for Pongal. Now that all the issues have been sorted out, it has been confirmed as a Pongal release. 

Samar will release on Jan 13th, Sunday. The Vishal-Thiru duo was successful in their previous venture Theeradha Vilayaattu Pillai and is now keeping their fingers crossed for their next release. Samar has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Samar, an Overview

Just like Vishwaroopam, this movie was also in a delicate state of whether it would be a pongal release or not but this movie did make it to being a pongal release unlike vishwaroopam.Samar is directed by Thiru, and the lead cast being Vishal ,Trisha, Sunaina and Manoj Bajpai.This is actually the second time vishal and thiru have collabrated the first being Theeratha Villayaattu Pillai. Trisha having rejected no less than four vishal movies in the past (Sathyam, Thoranai, Theeratha Villayattu Pillai & Vedi ) finally pairs up with him in this movie.To be honest the movie's music album isn't anywhere close to what Yuvan Shankar Raja did for Thiru in Theeratha Villayaattu Pillai.Lets see if the Combination works second time around for Thiru and Vishal.
