Ilayathalapathy's Jilla is currently into the fourth shooting schedule, An important scene in the film involving Vijay, Kajal Aggarwal, Mahat and Parotta Soori was canned yesterday. The Film's first look posters are ready, but the makers are currently awaiting Vijay's approval to release them onto the public.

Thalaivaa Becomes Jilla From Today

Ilayathalapathy has finally completed his transformation from Thalaivaa to a Jilla, Yes Vijay who had earlier taken a family vacation after the shooting schedule of Thalaivaa has joined the sets of Jilla from earlier today. Jilla will be an out and out commercial entertainer directed by debutante director Nesan.
Jilla would also witness the first time pairing of Vijay & the complete actor Mohanlal, Jilla also stars Kajal Agarwal, Mahat,Poornima Bhagyaraj,Niveda Thomas and soori.

Vijay Becomes Jilla in 2 Days

The First schedule of Illayathalapathy's Jilla was completed recently in Madurai. The next Schedule in Chennai will begin in another 2 days, Ilayathalapathy Vijay & Mahat Ragavendra who were not part of the first shooting schedule will be joining the team for this schedule. Jilla is directed by Newcomer Nesan starring Ilayathalapathy, Mohanlal & Kajal Agarwal. The movie is expected to be Pongal 2014 release.

Ilayathalapathy is Shakthi in Jilla

Ilayathalapathy Vijay who recently wrapped up the shoot for his Thalaivaa is back in Chennai to kick start his shoot for 'Jilla'. An official photo-shoot was also held last Sunday with the first look posters expected to be out soon. 
Jilla has galaxy of stars to it, Mohanlal, Kajal Agarwal, Mahat, Soori, Thambi Ramaiah. Nivedita thomas was the latest addition to the starcast who will be playing Vijay's sister and the daughter of Mohanlal in the movie. The latest buzz on the movie is that Vijay's charcter name in the movie is Shakthi and people call him Jilla meaning Head in Madurai dialect.

Kajal Agarwal was the reason Why Nisha Agarwal rejected Jilla ?

Ever since Kajal Agarwal was roped into play the lead role in Jilla, there were several rumors linking the other agarwal 'Nisha' also with the same project . She did deny it saying it was just a rumor and she wasn't approached at all. 
However sources in kollywood have conjured up with two different rumors. 

Rumor 1 :
Sources reveal Nisha Agarwal's name popped up only because Kajal Agarwal had recommened her in the first place , but Kajal Agarwal  hasn't taken these rumors well , She has reportedly made it clear that she would never recommend her sister like that. Kajal added that  "I strongly believe that no one can sustain because of recommendation. Only their talent and hard work will prove success."

Rumor 2 :
There is another side to story which reveals that Kajal's younger sister Nisha was indeed offered with a chance to pair up against Mahat in 'Jilla' but it was Kajal who stepped in and rejected the offer for Nisha, citing it was too small role for her. Kajal has reportedly said "I do not want my sister to do such a small role , yes maybe her first movie 'Ishtam' did not do that well , even i my debut venture wasn't a big success but i waited patiently for my chance so will my sister".

Negative Role for Vijay in Jilla !

Ilayathalapathy's Jilla marks the 85th movie for Super Good Films, directed by Debutant Nesan it will feature Vijay alongside Malayalam superstar 'Mohanlal'. The movie is based on the fictional happenings of Madurai where Mohan lal is set to play as Vijay's father and the head of the gang. Mahat who plays as the brother of Ilayathalapathy Vijay in Jilla, revealed in a recent interview that both his character and Vijay's charcter has loads of negative shades to it. The last time Vijay played a such a character was way back in Azhagiya Tamil Magan.
