Superstar's stunning Lingaa teaser which absolutely stormed the internet has just crossed one million views. The teaser view count is currently 1,376,320 and fast etching towards 2 Million. Lingaa features Superstar in dual roles which is spread across different timelines. Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha play the female leads, K.S Ravikumar directs the film while A.R.Rahman scores music.

The climax shoot of Superstar's Lingaa is currently happening near Jog Falls in Shimoga, Actress Sonakshi Sinha who plays the female lead in the film made this tweet yesterday morning "God what have i done that u have found the WORST hotel ever and put me in there?!?" (sic)
The Bollywood babe wasn't apparently happy with the accommodation provided to her and expressed her displeasure on twitter, The film's producer Rockline Venkatesh clarified to Times of India stating "We don't have too many good hotels near Jog Falls. We provided accommodation for the cast and crew in the best hotel among the lot. Sonakshi was completely fine with whatever facilities we've given her. I'm unaware of her tweet."
Interestingly, Sonakshi Sinha removed her tweet in few hours.

Ace Director A.R.Murugadoss next after Kaththi was one of the debated project in the industry, There were numerous rumors that his next film could be a straight Telugu flick, There were also reports that A.R.M could reunite with Thala for his next after the director himself revealed that "It's not a sentiment. Sometimes the actors come back to me after a successful film and at times I go back to them if I have a suitable story. It has always been like that. I have also worked with Ajith in the past and I plan to collaborate again in future."

Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha after several misses is finally making her Kollywood debut in Lingaa alongside our very own Superstar ! The Lootera actress said she is indeed open to doing more films in South and added that she felt work happens much faster in South in terms of speed and the number of people in film unit is also very less.
To the question of who she would like to act with in South, Sonakshi Sinha said "Among the South actors I would like to work with Mahesh Babu, Ravi Teja and Surya” .

The shooting schedule of Superstar's next magnum opus Linga has already been kicked started with a song shoot in Mysore. Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty pair up with Superstar who plays a dual role in the film. Sonakshi Sinha who was supposed to make her Kollywood debut in Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam is finally entering K'wood with Superstar's Linga.
The Bollywood beauty had this to say on the film and on Superstar "It feels great to be a part of a Tamil film and I couldn't have asked for a better debut. I started my Bollywood career with Salman Khan and in Tamil, I've done it with the Superstar himself! It is definitely a dabangg entry for me! I am part of the 1940s generation and I play a girl who helps Rajinikanth. The look and the setting are completely new and I am quite kicked about my part."
"I've met Rajini sir when I was way younger. After coming to the set of Lingaa, I told him that I was pretty nervous about working with him. But he surprised me by saying, 'Why are you nervous? I am nervous to work with you since you're my friend's daughter, Despite his star status, he is very humble. He made me feel very comfortable on the set and even said that the romantic angle would be shot keeping in mind both our comfort levels."

Not One, But Two Superstars in Rajini's Next !

Fans the Superstar- K.S Ravikumar flick is kicking off sooner than anticipated. According to reliable sources the movie will kick off in Mysore from the 3rd of May. The director K.S Ravikumar officially announced that the film has been tilted Lingaa (Possibly taken for Superstar's grandson name Linga) and will feature Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty and music by A.R.Rahman.
Now the latest is that Superstar will do a dual role in the film and plays the role of a royal who returns to rule his kingdom after getting an education abroad and then is seen as his grandson. A source revealed, "Sonakshi will play the royal's love interest and Anushka Shetty will be paired opposite the Rajini of today. The two characters do not have any scenes together.The role picked by Sonakshi is meatier. The film's director Ravikumar too thought that she is well suited to enact the role of the girl from the 40s."
The source also added that "We are starting earlier than planned. Sonakshi will start shooting on May 3 with Rajini sir . Her wardrobe is ready and she will be seen wearing South Indian half sarees in quite a few scenes."
Anushka Shetty had this to say on the Superstar Starrer "Very happy to be a part of Superstar Rajinikanth sir's film. K.S. Ravi Kumar sir is the director and AR Rahman is scoring the music. Sonakshi Sinha also a part of this movie. Eagerly waiting for the shoot to start !"

It's a known fact that Superstar's next after Kochdaiiyaan will be directed by K.S.Ravikumar. Now the latest buzz going around in K'town is that the ace director has registered the title Linga for this Superstar starrer. Superstar is rumored to play a dual role in the film, One character set in Pre-historic age and another one in present generation.
Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty play the female leads while the story of the film has been written by Pon Kumaran of Charulatha fame. There is also a buzz that the first schedule of Linga will begin in Mysore on May 2nd and will go on for 40 days.

It's known fact that Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha will make her debut in Kollywood alongside Thalaivar Superstar in K.S Ravikumar film. The cute actress in a recent television interaction said that Rajini will be seen in the avatar for which he is best known among his fans. She also said that she was actually adjusting her dates to start shooting from May.
Sources add Superstar plays a dual role in the film one set in period backdrop and the other in a contemporary one, Anushka Shetty is expected to play the other female lead. This Superstar film will be produced by Rockline Venkatesh.

If rumors to be believed Anirudh Ravichander is the luckiest man in Kollywood, Sources say the young maestro will compose for Superstar's next with K.S.Ravikumar which will make him the youngest composer to compose for a Superstar film.
Sources add A.R.Rahman as usual was indeed the first choice for Superstar starrer but since the Oscar hero is committed to multiple other projects and the makers want to complete the film in 3 months and release it in Diwali they have opted for Anirudh.
This Superstar film has already confirmed the presence of Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha as the female leads and Rathinavelu as the Cinematographer.

As SS Music reported yesterday, there were certain reports that speculated that Superstar was slightly uncomfortable romancing Sonakshi Sinha in his next film with K S Ravikumar and hence the actress could be replaced.
However, Sources now confirm that Sonakshi Sinha is indeed part of Superstar's next with K.S Ravikumar where Anushka Shetty also plays the other female lead. Sources add the Bollywood beauty will start shooting for the Superstar film in July, after she completes her Bollywood assignment Tevar. The makers of the film, which will extensively be shot in Mysore, are aiming for a Deepavali release.
Sonakshi says, "I am finally making my debut in the South. I could not have asked for a better project to start with; it's a wonderful story and it's opposite the one and only Rajini sir. I am looking forward to expanding my horizons with this project."

There are several rumors going that Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha may romance Superstar for his next with K.S Ravikumar. There is however contradicting report stating Superstar is actually hesitant to pair up with Sonakshi Sinha, It is said that Shatrughan Sinha and Rajinikanth who acted together in Asli Naqli (1986) are close friends. And while Sona's age may not be the deterrent for the 60-plus Rajinikanth, his closeness to Shotgun Sinha could make the legend slightly uncomfortable in romancing the daughter of his friend.
Sources from Kollywood say that other actresses like Nayanthara are being spoken to for the same role for which Sona is being considered. It's worth mentioning that Sonakshi Sinha earlier missed out to pair up with Kamal Haasan in Viswaroopam.
