Thala 55's second schedule began yesterday, The team are up against the Kathiri heat as the most the shoot has been scheduled outside and not in studios. The film's title has been widely reported as Sathya though there is no official confirmation on the same, Trisha is scheduled to the join the second schedule along with Ajith and Anushka Shetty.
Comedian and Versatile actor Vivek who is currently shooting with Thala in the same movie said working with Ajith was freedom and while he called it a beautiful experience to act in Gautham Menon's direction.

Actor Vivek is on a comeback trail and has bagged a biggie in Thala 55 with Gautham Menon. The veteran comedian wil be teaming up with Thala after Kireedom in 2007 while he will re-unite with Gautham Menon after 13 years , having starred in GVM's debut film Minnale.
Vivek recently revealed on he bagged the role, He said "Gautham saw a preview of Naan Thaan Bala, in which I play the lead. I have a serious character in it and he remarked that he completely forgot comedian Vivek while watching it. Later, he offered me a role in Ajith's film which demanded both comedy and emotions."

Kamal Haasan's "Uthama Villain" for Linguswamy's Thirupathi Brothers is currently in its pre-production stage. Kajal Agarwal who was originally approached by Kamal Haasan to play the lead role turned down the offer citing she just couldn't accommodate the call sheet for the movie. The movie already has Mammootty, Vijay Sethupathi, Vivek & Shanthanu Bhagyaraj to his star-cast, but the female lead was still a question, Sources revealed Lekha Washington, Divya Spandana were the lead runners for this role. However from the recent tweet by Divya, it looks like she is the most probable candidate to bag this prestigious role..
It would indeed be a dream come true to be cast alongside Kamal sir but nothing is confirmed yet.

As SS Music earlier reported, Kamal Haasan- Linguswamy project title was unveiled few hours earlier as "Uthama Villain". Crazy Mohan will be writing the dialogues alongside Kamal Haasan and comedian Vivek will finally get his wish fulfilled of acting alongside Kamal Haasan. The latest buzz is that Kajal Agarwal who was the first choice for Kamal Haasan has turned down the offer to star in the movie citing her call sheet is already full and has no way to accommodate this movie and has apologized to Kamal Haasan for turning the offer down. Sources reveal that Divya Spandana (Kuthu Ramya) or Lekha Washington a former SS Music VJ might bag the role.

Its already a known fact that Kamal Haasan's next after Vishwaroopam 2 is with Linguswamy's Thirupathi Brothers where our Ullaganayagan will act and direct. Now the latest buzz is that Crazy Mohan who has worked with Kamal in Apoorva Sagodharargal, Michael Madhana Kamarajan,Vasool Raja MBBS,Avvai Shanmugi and many more movies has been roped into the project. The movie has been titled Uthama Villan and official reports confirm comedy actor Vivek will be pairing up with Kamal Haasan for the first time in his career and Yuvan Shankar Raja will be in-charge of the musical department.

Replace Santhanam says Karthi to Director Hari
Actor Karthi after his series of debacles in Saguni and Alex Pandiyan has become more cautious on choosing his movie scripts to an extent even his co-actors. Santhanam who has shared screen space with Karthi several times has been apparently dropped from Hari's upcoming movie 'Aruva' upon Karthi's request.
Director Hari had earlier signed up Santhanam for his Singam 2 movie though Vivek was already part of the cast, But when Hari went ahead to sign Santhanam for the upcoming Karthi Starrer, he was intervened by Karthi who firmly insisted that Santhanam should be replaced.
This has sparked off reports among K'town that a possible grudge may have arisen between the two, cause of the equal importance Santhanam is given in Karthi movies.
Sources close to Karthi were quick to cover up the issue stating Karthi replaced Santhanam because he did not want to give the stereotype impression of pairing up Santhanam again and again.

Kamal Haasan Signs up Actor Vivek
The Comedy actor who ruled the Kollywood with his 'Laugh, Think and Act' philosophy is making a comeback of sorts , what better way to comeback than star in a Kamal Haasan movie. Ullaganayagan confirmed that he has indeed signed Vivek for his next movie in a recent media interaction.
Sources reveal that Vivek may have been signed up for Kamal Haasan's other project with Aascar Ravi Chandran which already has the likes of Mohan Lal , Ravi Teja, Rishi Kapoor and Trisha associated with it.
Looks like Kamal Haasan's bringing all the heavyweights of Indian Cinema into a single movie.

Bala's Reality Teaser Effect on Vivek
Vivek who has been out of the scene for a while, is making a comeback with a movie titled Machan.He plays the lead role in it , Vivek who is known for his witty humor is well known for combining his humor with current causes which are affecting our society.
Vivek is also a no nonsense artist , does not get involved in any sort of controversy with his humor.So when a controversial situation popped up in this movie , he has taken proper precaution and handled it in a very smooth fashion.
Last month when the team of Paradesi released a reality teaser which showcased Director Bala enacting scenes by hitting his actors.It created a huge stir in the industry , prompting industry insiders to term Bala a maniac.Vivek having seen this teaser did not want to get himself in the receiving end of Bala's stick so he called up the director to ask him if he is alright with a particular situation where his name gets involved in the scene.
In the movie Vivek's character succumbs to rags from riches , a by passer observing this situation of Vivek tells him he should rather act in a Bala movie than to be like this.To this Vivek replies that every actor who worked with Bala is in pretty much the same state as him. Bala apparently has seen the good side of this humour and has given a green signal for this scene.
