Amy on why she quit Suriya's Masss !

The Brit Supermodel Amy Jackson is currently one of the most wanted heroine in Kollywood. The actress who is awaiting the big release of I was signed up by Venkat Prabhu for Masss starring Suriya and Nayanthara. After the initial photoshoot there were reports that Amy had walked out the film then followed reports that it was rumor only to be later replaced by Pranitha.

Now Amy Jackson in a recent interview to Times of India finally revealed the reason why she walked out the film "A lot has been said about my 'walking out' of the Suriya project, so I want to set the record straight once and for all. I was thrilled to get the chance to star alongside Suriya and work with Venkat Prabhu. Unfortunately the script changed. Plus, I felt that after Shankar's film, I needed to continue to aim for meaty roles. I hope I get the chance to work with them again in the future though."

If sources are to be believed, Amy Jackson has apparently walked out Suriya's Masss and the reason being Nayanthara. There was a buzz last month that Amy Jackson walked out the Suriya starrer only to be later rubbished off as rumor. Now sources once again report that Pranitha Subhash has replaced Amy Jackson in Masss.

A source reported to Times of India that  "Nayanthara felt very insecure when Shruti Haasan was finalised for the film. Somehow, she managed to have her replaced. When the crew got Amy Jackson on board, she got even more insecure as Amy is the current hot and happening heroine. Nayanthara once again played her dominating self and made Amy walk out of the film by herself. Now, she is ok with Pranitha on board for the film."

As SS Music earlier reported there was a huge buzz that the sexy ladio Amy Jackson had walked out of Suriya's Masss. Sources said the I girl wasn't intrested in playing second fiddle to Nayanthara and hence the walkout. Now the latest update according to Times of India is that Amy is very much part of Masss and only reason she is currently in Chennai is to shoot for Suriya's Masss

"That is completely false news. Amy is very much a part of Masss, Amy came down to Chennai from London only to take this look test for Masss. Amy's role is very crucial in the film and since it is a super natural thriller, her look is going to be very offbeat. After this look test, she will be joining the Masss team when they head to Bulgaria with Suriya for a schedule. The shoot in Bulgaria is expected to commence around Christmas."  Reported a source to Times of India.

With a single First look, Suriya-Venkat Prabhu's Masss went viral across all social platforms creating a new style called 'Mug Shot' in Kollywood. The Horror comedy featured two female leads in Nayanthara and Amy Jackson, The latest buzz is that Amy Jackson has apparently walked out the film.

Sources say Amy wasn't keen on playing the second fiddle to Nayanthara, That too a time where her career will elevate to all new heights after I release. Sources also add that every heroine the Masss team have approached so far have turned down the film in fear that Nayanthara's presence might completely overshadow them. Heroines like Priya Anand, Amala Paul and Taapsee have all turned down the offer so far.

The film's first look poster was launched on Diwali and it went completely viral and fans came up with similar designs for their star films. "Suriya is happy go lucky guy who seems to have a normal life, but all of sudden one day he realizes that he is being followed by three people. When this becomes a routine Surya gets furious and questions them why they are following him, But he doesn't get a reply from them and instead turns to his friends to help him out from these strangers. Suriya however is mocked by his friends who say they don't see anyone and is trolled by his friends for his abnormal behaviour. Suriya then comes to realization that all three are actually ghosts and each have an unfulfilled wish. How Suriya helps them to achieve their wish forms the core of this Venkat Prabhu Directorial. "

Actor Suriya is currently into Venkat Prabhu's Masss which stars Amy Jackson and Nayanthara. Suriya has now officially confirmed two of his next post Masss. One will directed by Vikram Kumar of Manam fame while the next will be directed by Commercial Director Hari. This will be the fifth time Hari and Suriya have teamed up.

A source confirmed to Times of India stating "Yes, they will be working again. But Suriya will begin Hari's film only after he completes two other films — Venkat Prabhu's Masss, for which he is currently shooting for, and a yet-to-be-titled film with Vikram Kumar that is in pre-production stage. Hari, too, wanted some time to pen the script. So, it will take at least nine months for the duo to start their project. They are yet to decide whether it will be the third installment of Singam or a fresh script."

Social Media for the past two days has gone absolutely berserk in creating multiple memes on Director Lingusamy's words which he said on a popular TV channel prior to the release of Anjaan movie.

Lingusamy in that particular interview said he has 'tuned' himself to the script (Naan appadiye tune aayirukein) and that he applied all that he has learnt in these years of cinema in Anjaan (Kathu Kita Motha Vithayum Eraki Iruken). 

Director Venkat Prabhu has now come in defense of the ace director who has delivered some massive hits like Run and Sandakozhi. Venkat Prabhu had this to post in his official facebook page on Lingusamy

The guardian daily published in Britain is one of the most prestigious and also the third most read daily in the world, They published an article yesterday listing the top 5 most memorable cricketing moments in Cinema. They listed our Venkat Prabhu's Chennai 600028 in the illustrious list which also featured Alfred Hitchcock's The Lady Vanishes, Lagaan, Hope and Glory and Shaun of the Dead.

Chennai 600028 was the directorial debut of Venkat Prabhu and starred Shiva, Jai, Vaibhav, Premji and many others. The film is one of the mass favourites and Venkat Prabhu has truly done Indian Cinema proud with this nomination.

Surya who is currently into the final patchwork shooting for Anjaan will soon move over to Venkat Prabhu film which has been tentatively titled Poochandi. This horror comedy features Nayanthara and Amy Jackson playing the female leads. 

There was a huge buzz going around that Veteran Hero Mohan might play the antagonist role in the film. Director Venkat Prabhu has however clarified the buzz stating it just fake news. The film is expected to kick off later this month.

Time and again we have heard reports and quotes that Mankatha 2 will arrive soon, Director Venkat Prabhu in a press meet of Biriyani was also quoted saying "I am ready for Mankatha 2 but Ajith Sir is busy next year and in case all works out, we have to have a producer".

Now the latest is that Producer J Anbazhagan who earlier produced Aadhi Bhagavan has expressed his desire to produce Mankatha 2 with both Ajith and Vijay playing the lead roles. He went on to add that Mankantha 2 would be the ideal film for Thala Thalapathy to act together. Here is his tweet

Surya gets Thala Ajith's Movie ?

Venkat Prabhu delivered a mega blockbuster for Thala Ajith in Mankatha, and went on to pen a script for Ilayathalapathy Vijay in Biriyani but the star actor due to date clashes opted out and Venkat Prabhu then approached Surya with the same script however the actor was busy shooting for Singam II and the film finally went to Karthi and went on to be decent hit.

Venkat Prabhu is currently busy into the pre-production works for his upcoming flick with Surya which will commence once the actor completes his Anjaan movie. Sources now report that this script was initially written for Ajith but has now landed into the hands of Surya. Let's wait and see if Venkat Prabhu delivers a monster hit like Mankatha again...
