Lekha Washington who started out as a VJ in our very own SS Music hit the silver-screen with Jeyem Kondan and was also roped in by STR for his Kettavan, however neither the movie nor Lekha's career really took off. But things have become much better now as Lekha has a couple of movies that's awaiting release Kalyana Samayal Sadham with Prasannna and she is also one of the front-runners of Ullaganayagan's Uthama Villain along with Divya Spandana.
In a recent media interaction Lekha pointed out that right now she does not expect to pair up with Ajith or Vijay but for now she just wants a comfortable team to work with.

Kamal Haasan's "Uthama Villain" for Linguswamy's Thirupathi Brothers is currently in its pre-production stage. Kajal Agarwal who was originally approached by Kamal Haasan to play the lead role turned down the offer citing she just couldn't accommodate the call sheet for the movie. The movie already has Mammootty, Vijay Sethupathi, Vivek & Shanthanu Bhagyaraj to his star-cast, but the female lead was still a question, Sources revealed Lekha Washington, Divya Spandana were the lead runners for this role. However from the recent tweet by Divya, it looks like she is the most probable candidate to bag this prestigious role..
It would indeed be a dream come true to be cast alongside Kamal sir but nothing is confirmed yet.

Prasanna is the Bridegroom , but Sneha is not the Bride.
Actor Prasanna is currently busy playing bridegroom in 'Kalyana Samayal Saadham', the movie story is set to be solely based upon a our South Indian wedding. The Latest buzz on the movie is that initially sneha was approached to play the bride in the movie , but that didn't work out and Lekha Washington was roped in as the female lead.
Another interesting scoop on Sneha and Prasanna is that, they might be seen acting together again in Arun Vaidyanthan movie , who is also the producer of Kalyana Samayal Samadhan.
