Vetrimaran Names The Next Superstar of Kollywood While Iniya reveals Three actors she would like to Smooch

Multiple National Award Winner Vetrimaran and Actress Iniya recently participated in the Natpudan Apsara show in Thanthi Tv. Here are some interesting titbits from the show 

Vetrimaran :
The director was at its diplomatic best and very cleverly avoided several questions. Here are some answers which he did reveal 

  • Most Talented Director - his Guru and Mentor Balu Mahendra
  • Vetrimaran added "all actors are over-rated because though the audience do come in for the movie because of the actor but if the content is missing then audience don't appreciate the movie that being the case yes all actors are over-rated"
  • Next Superstar among Jiiva, Dhanush, STR, Vijay Sethupathi and Arya in the next 5 years ? Vetrimaran said none of the actor would be the next superstar in 5 years, because Ajith and Vijay will rule the industry for the upcoming 5 years and the above actors would have to wait for some more time.
Iniya :
  • If there was a smooch scene she had to enact who would like to do with - Iniya named Dhanush, Vijay and Surya as they were very good in enacting romantic scenes 
  • Most Glamorous heroine - Nayanthara 
  • Stylish Hero - Karthi 
  • The actor with highest sex appeal - STR 
  • One actress performance that Iniya felt she would have done a far better job - Samantha in Neethane En Ponvasantham
  • Two Kollywood actress who should retire - Trisha and Tamanna 
  • Two Actress who do overmake and have done several treatments- Iniya named Nayanthara and Amala Paul and added she was aware of the number of treatments the two actress have undergone.

Dhanush's Wunderbar Films along with Vetrimaran's Glass Root Films are jointly producing a movie titled "Kakkha Muttai". The movie is directed by Ace Cinematographer Manikandan. The latest buzz on the movie is that STR has agreed to do a cameo in this Dhanush's Production. STR will be appearing as himself in the movie. Kakkha Muttai is supposedly about the life of kids dwelling in slums.

The latest buzz coming out from Kollywood is that Veteran Comedian Goundamani is all set to make a comeback. Though the movie will be directed by Vetrimaran's associate , Goundamani seems to have accepted the movie offer wholeheartedly after being impressed by the movie's story.
The movie is to jointly produced byVetrimaran and Dhanush.

When Rajkiran Turned down 3 Crores to Star in Superstar Movie..

Kollywood was recently buzzing with reports of Vetrimaran roping in Veteran actor Rajkiran to play the villain role for his Vengai Swamy(tentative title) with Dhanush. However the actor has completely rubbished off these reports stating there are just plain rumors and he will never act as a Villain in his lifetime.
The actor also added an interesting incident stating 
"He was approached to play the villain in Superstar Rajinikanth's Sivaji for which he was offered Rs.3 crores, which was nearly ten times his regular salary, but he politely refused the offer because of his principles and the same applies in Vetrimaran's case too.”

Amala Paul or Manisha Yadav for Dhanush's Vengaisaamy ?

Dhanush and Vetrimaran combo as of now have delivered us two Masterpieces in Filmmaking. The Third one has been titled as Vengaisaamy if reports are to be believed. Sources add that Vetrimaran has asked for 4 months to complete the script work of the movie within which Dhanush would have also completed shooting for his K.V Anand flick.
Sources also reveal that Manisha Yadav of Vaazhakku En 18/9 has been auditioned for the lead role and Amala Paul name's has also been under discussion for the above project. The official announcement on the cast and crew would be made soon.

As SS Music first broke to you Dhanush was all geared up to re-unite with Vetrimaran once again, though Dhayanidhi Alagiri also officially confirmed the project http://ssmusictheblog.blogspot.in/2013/05/its-official-now-dhanushs-next-is-with.html  it never managed to kick off and when Dhanush announced that he had signed up with K.V Anand for his next, There were even more doubts if the Vetrimaran project was actually dropped. Ethir Neechal Part 2 ?

Ethir Neechal was a runaway hit among the May 1 releases and was declared a huge blockbuster. Due to the tremendous success enjoyed by the movie the Ethir Neechal team are contemplating on coming together for another flick.
Sources reveal the team have already begin their pre-production work as Durai Senthilkumar is currently in discussion with Shiva Karthikeyan and Priya Anand in regards to their call sheets. Wunderbar films are reported to once again produce the movie with Anirudh scoring the music.
However Cinematographer Velraj will be unavailable as Dhanush and Vetrimaran are all set to kick off their movie which was earlier confirmed by Dhanayanidhi Alagiri.

Dhanush set the kollywood on fire with his scintillating performance in 'Mariyaan' teaser which was released yesterday. The Latest buzz is that National Award Winning Combo of Dhanush and Vetrimaran are back, The duo which gave us the likes of 'Polladhavan' and 'Aadukalam' are set to join hands once again. 
Reports have it that 'Ashrita Shetty' who is making her debut in Udhayam NH4 will be pairing up opposite Dhanush for this Vetrimaran project.

It's Dhanush Again for Vetrimaran

The National Award winning combination is back , Dhanush and Vetrimaran's combo has been the deadliest be it in Polladhavan which was Vetrimaran's Directorial debut or be it Aadukalam. Both the movies managed to win the critics as well as being a complete entertainer also winning the National Award in the process.Vetri Maran and Dhanush's first project was actually "Desiya Neduchanalai 47".

This movie was dropped after a mere single day of shoot , but now the same movie has been recreated  as "Udhayam NH4" with Siddharth playing the lead and Vetrimaran's assistant Manikandan directing it , the script, dialogues and production is being done by Vetrimaran himself.
