Not in it for Money - Chiyaan Vikram

Yes Bollywood pays more but i'm not into for money, its just Passion says Chiyaan Vikram. He is one of the very few actors who has made the shift from south to north seemingly easy,Its the same case with his latest movie "David" where he plays the  role of Fisherman co-starring with likes Neil Nithin Mukesh,Vinay Varmani.

Vikram also clearly stated that he is no hurry to do another bollywood movie, David is actually Vikram's second, he broke into the bollywood with his Raavaan where he totally outperformed Abhishek Bachchan, which even sparked a outrage from Bachchan senior. Vikram also labelled both the roles to be very Special Characters.

"David" is all set to Face the Waves of "Kadal"

February 1 was set as the day of War as "David" and "Kadal" go head to head at the box office domination battle. 'David' as we reported earlier was rumored to release on 8th of February since "Kadal" was supposedly confirmed for February 1st release ,  An interesting fact is that Mani Ratnam is actually the guru of Bejoy Nambiyar who incidentally helped out in framing the script for 'David'. 

Now all that aside it is confirmed that these two movies will clash head-to-head on February Ist , Kadal features Goutham Karthik and Thulasi Nair whereas David stars Vikram and Jiiva.

Kadal Comes First Then David

The latest on Bejoy Nambiar's Tamil version of 'David' which was initially scheduled to hit the screens on February 1st is now being pushed to February 8th.  Bejoy who started off his career with his promising Hindi flick 'Shaitan' is a former protege of Mr.Mani Ratnam. He has worked as a line producer for 'Raavan/Raavanan' and also as an assistant in Ratnam's 'Guru' . Also what should be noted here is that since the screenplay of  'David' is very complicated and the movie itself falls under the category of "hyperlink cinema" which we have seen previously in Mani's 2004 movie 'Aayutha Ezhuthu' he turned to his mentor for some tweaks in the screenplay. Mani being the legend he is helped Bejoy out and now out of respect for his mentor and guru , Bejoy has postponed the Tamil version of 'David' to February 8th since Mani's much awaited 'Kadal' was first speculated that it might be pushed to later date to help out Vishwaroopam but Thulasi Nair has just tweeted that "Kadal" is indeed scheduled to release on February 1st.
