Kadal Comes First Then David

The latest on Bejoy Nambiar's Tamil version of 'David' which was initially scheduled to hit the screens on February 1st is now being pushed to February 8th.  Bejoy who started off his career with his promising Hindi flick 'Shaitan' is a former protege of Mr.Mani Ratnam. He has worked as a line producer for 'Raavan/Raavanan' and also as an assistant in Ratnam's 'Guru' . Also what should be noted here is that since the screenplay of  'David' is very complicated and the movie itself falls under the category of "hyperlink cinema" which we have seen previously in Mani's 2004 movie 'Aayutha Ezhuthu' he turned to his mentor for some tweaks in the screenplay. Mani being the legend he is helped Bejoy out and now out of respect for his mentor and guru , Bejoy has postponed the Tamil version of 'David' to February 8th since Mani's much awaited 'Kadal' was first speculated that it might be pushed to later date to help out Vishwaroopam but Thulasi Nair has just tweeted that "Kadal" is indeed scheduled to release on February 1st.
