Yuvan talks about his connection with A.R.Rahman
15/08/2014
The Mozart of Madras A.R.Rahman and the maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja have rocked the Kollywood for almost a decade now, The two heavyweights of Kollywood have treated us to some magical chartbusters, In a recent interview Yuvan talked about his connection with A.R.R
"Rahman used to play the keyboard for my dad when he was a kid back in the day with the orchestra. So, he knows me since I was six and has seen me growing up. I know Rahman, but am not close to him. I have sung just twice for him, whereas I have sung at least 10 times for my father. But being Ilaiyaraaja's son, singing for Rahman became a big deal. Actually, I sang for Rahman as I don't have any ego, and I wanted to set an example for future composers to not have ego and boundaries with other composers. My dad asked me, 'What made you sing?' I said, 'I just felt like singing.' After that, I started getting calls from lots of composers to sing, but to maintain exclusivity, I said 'no', except once when I sang for Dharan."

Yuvan to get Divorce for 2nd Time, Says he wants to Marry again !
13/08/2014
The Rockstar of Kollywood, The 'Ilaiyanagni' Yuvan Shankar Raja has been the talk of town today after he recently confirmed that he is going to get divorce from his second wife Shilpa Mohan. Yuvan married Sujaya Chandran on March 21, 2005 but they split due to difference of opinion, Yuvan then married Shilpa on September 1st, 2011.
Now sources report that Shilpa is currently living with her parents in London having separated from Yuvan, Now Yuvan in a recent interaction has stated that he would like to get married for the third time and he feels very lonely these days.
Yuvan's comment on Marriage has got the entire industry buzzing, Here is Yuvan interview to Times of India where he explains his relationship status
"I first got married when I was 25, but my marriage lasted for three months. I again married when I was 30, but am now separated and on the way to getting a divorce. I feel very lonely and would like to get married again and have a family. The main problem with me is that I need to give more time to my relationship. I do minimum 10 films every year and I'm always preoccupied. I love to help people. While for big films, I charge commercially, I have also done films for free for struggling people. My father too has helped a lot of people in his life and is not commercial-minded. If a producer's wife came to her to tell her that her husband had no money, my mother would request my dad to help. I too have imbibed that."

The reason why Yuvan Shankar Raja was Replaced in Vadacurry ?
25/03/2014
Vadacurry is an upcoming film which stars the Subramaniapuram pair Jai & Swathi, The movie is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri who sent a official press release on why Yuvan Shankar Raja was replaced by newcomers Vivek and Mervin.
"I would like to inform you that due to Yuvan Shankar Raja's hectic schedule towards the end of last year, we were unable to work along with him for Vadacurry, although he has delivered us an absolute mesmerising melody for the same. We are using that track for the said film. Both of us agreed mutually and felt it was best if we work with another music director for the quick completion of the movie ".
When the Vadacurry unit was trying to rope in Anirudh, he suggested musical duo Vivek and Mervin to Dhayanidhi. The duo have scored 4 (four) tracks for Vadacurry and will be scoring the BGM too.
Here is a small intro about Vivek and Mervin
