Are Samantha and Siddharth Already Married ?

The current hot buzz going around Tollywood is that Siddharth and Samantha have married confidentially with just the presence of their relatives and friends. It was during the Jabbardasth movie when Samantha and Siddharth became real close and eventually turned lovers. Samantha recently appeared in a special cameo for Siddharth's Theeya Vellai Seiyanum Kumaru. The couple's love came into the limelight when they were spotted at the Sri Kalahasthi Shiva temple in Andhra along with their respective parents in a special Pooja.
Later the couple decided to concentrate on their own acting career, Samantha currently holds 5 project in Tollywood, Out of which she has completed shooting for 2 and holds another two Kollywood projects alongside Suriya and another with Vijay. Siddharth is currently into Jigarthanda and Kaviya Thalaivaan.
At this juncture, numerous reports of a secret marriage between Samantha and Siddharth is fast spreading. The marriage was supposedly held at Hyderabad. After the marriage, the couple have appeared as Husband and wife and graced the marriage of Siddharth's close friend.
Kamal Haasan not in Diwali Box Office Battle

Kollywood is currently buzzing as the film producers and distributors are doing all they can to block the Diwali dates for their respective movies. Here are some of the proposed diwali releases Thala's Arrambam, Karthi's All in All Azhagu Raja, Selvaraghavan's Irandam Ulagam, Vikram Prabhu's Ivan Vera Mathiri and STR's Vaalu.
This Diwali offers a lucrative 3 days window, Which is why all the makers are currently trying to lock their movie for a Diwali release, However Theaters/Distributors are insisting on the censor 'U' certificate/tax exemption formalities to be completed on or before October 25th for the movie to be locked for Diwali Release.
Ullaganayagan's Vishwaroopam 2 which was earlier part of Diwali Dhamaka is now heading into a solo release sometime around November/December in order to get maximum screens.
Dhanush Teams up with Karthik from Sep 2

The much awaited K.V Anand's Project Starring Dhanush is all set to kick off from the 2nd of September. The latest update on the untitled movie is that veteran actor Navarasa Nayagan Karthik has been signed up to play a crucial role. The lead heroine is yet to be cast, sources suggest K.V Anand is looking into Bollywood heroines for now.
This romantic entertainer will have Harris Jayaraj Musical who has already completed composing a Kuthu Number. Dhanush who is currently into the shooting of Vella Illa Pattathari will move to pondicherry from September 2nd to kick off the K.V Anand flick.

Prabhu deva's directorial career kicked off after the mass blockbuster in Pokiri, Since then he has gone to direct several leading heroes of Bollywood like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Shahid Kapoor.
The Latest buzz on Prabhu Deva is that he has hiked his salary to 15 crores and is about enter marriage again. Prabhu Deva who separated from his wife Ramlath following romance with Nayanthara. However Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara separated when they were about to enter wedlock due to some difference of opinion.
Following the reports of Prabhu Deva marrying again, the ace choreographer and director addressed the rumor stating Currently, I am not planning marriage, If I had any such plans, I would have told it to the media.My concentration is on cinema. No Takers for STR Movie ?

STR one of the biggest stars of Kollywood has been in sort of downward slide after back to back flops like Osthi and Poda Podi. His two movies Vaalu and Vettai Mannan has also been making for years now. Though the shooting schedule of Vaalu has been finally wrapped up, Vettai Mannan is just 50 % completed.
Meanwhile STR has signed up a new project with Director Pandiraj which will be produced by STR himself. Although he has volunteered to produce the movie, STR has been kinda very conscious about spending from his pocket.
Reports have that STR is going about putting on airs stating there is a tremendous market for his movies and that his movies would easily be marketed for 40 Crores and Hence the movie rights could be sold to TV Channels and then the movie can be produced with the amount received.
As per STR's idea the makers had forwarded an invitation to distributors, but unfortunately not one distributors seems to have come forward to buy the Distribution rights of the movies.

Siva Karthikeyan is currently one of the hottest stars in Kollywood.Even the Siva Karthikeyan faithfuls who were aware of his natural talent were amazed with his meteoric rise. But the latest buzz going around Kodambakkam is that Siva Karthikeyan is entangled in romance with Bindu Madhavi.
After Sivakarthikeyan's father passed away, his uncle took care of Siva and his mother and even took up their family expenditures. As a mark of gratitude Siva Karthikeyan married his uncle' daughter Aarthi as per his mother request. Usually in Kollywood most married heroes hide the fact that they are already married. Siva seems to be no exception as he does not take his wife to the film festivals nor the award shows.
While Siva Karthikeyan was shooting for Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga he seems to have developed a close bond with Bindu Madhavi, this bond has then blossomed into romance. Bindu Madhavi who has just begun her acting career has even agreed to do a Special cameo in Siva Karthikeyan's next flick Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam.
Some reports go to the extent that Siva Karthikeyan is close to divorcing his wife after a rift has erupted between the couple after the latter was aware of the secret affair.
STR's Cameo in Dhanush's Movie
Dhanush's Wunderbar Films along with Vetrimaran's Glass Root Films are jointly producing a movie titled "Kakkha Muttai". The movie is directed by Ace Cinematographer Manikandan. The latest buzz on the movie is that STR has agreed to do a cameo in this Dhanush's Production. STR will be appearing as himself in the movie. Kakkha Muttai is supposedly about the life of kids dwelling in slums.
Yet another Complaint against Thalaivaa Producer

Director Ramesh Selvan of Ulvu Thurai and Jananam fame, recently directed a film titled Kalavaram starring Sathyaraj in main lead. The Director has filed a petition in which he has accused Thalaivaa producer Chandraprakash Jain of stalling his movie Kalavaram.
Here is the petition
"I have directed a movie Kalavaram starring Sathyaraj, The movie is produced by my friend Ravichandran. After seeing the promotions for our movie, Chandraprakash Jai who produced Thalaivaa called us two weeks back and spoke to us. He said he would get a solution to the issue regarding Thalaivaa release soon and he said if we release our movie Kalavaram then Thalaivaa movie would not get enough theatres and promised us to purchase our movie for 2.25 crores and asked us to prepare an agreement.
As per his promise, we approached him yesterday (Sunday 27th) with the agreement, But Chandraprakash Jain refused to meet us, Ill treated us and threatened that he would kill us. Since our movie has not yet been released, we incurred severe loss. So I and producer Ravichandran do not have any alternative other than to commit suicide. So Police should intervene and provide us security and Police should initiate against Chandraprakash Jain."

Actress Lakshmi Rai went totally missing in Kollywood after the blockbuster success of Mankatha which even sprung up few marriage rumors for the pretty actress. However Laksmi Rai is finally back to Kollywood much to the fans delight yes she has signed up a new project in Irumbu Kudhirai starring Atharva Murali and Priya Anand.
Lakshmi Rai will be essaying the role of a biker, Irumbu Kudhirai will be directed by Yuvaraj and produced by AGS Entertainment. Lakshmi Rai had this to say "I will be driving super bikes for my character. I've tried riding a lot of bikes during my college days but stopped it after a small mishap. Now, I just have to brush up my skills once again for this film."

Everything Thala does is Headlines such is the man's starpower.His recent headline arrived when Thala Ajith took out his BMW S1000RR Superbike and stormed the roads of ECR. But here is a interesting read on some info on Thala Ajith's recent road trip from Chennai to Bangalore.
- Thala Ajith whilst travelling from Chennai to Bangalore was actually caught by the traffic police on the borders of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka who were on regular inspection patrol.
- Thala Ajith patiently waited in the checking queue for his turn and surprised everyone by removing his helmet and revealing himself.
- Ajith still went on to produce all the necessary documents to the Traffic patrols.
Thala Ajith in a recent interview even revealed that he wore the racing kits in order to create awareness among the public. Ajith said it was better to sweat than to bleed.

Trouble looming for Shruti Haasan

John Abraham's Madras Cafe received severe opposition in Tamil Nadu and was not screened in a single theatre even after getting the clearance from Censor Boards and Court of Justice. The protests alleged the movie showcased the LTTE as Terrorist. John Abraham the Producer and Main lead of the movie was subjected to severe hatred from Tamil People for such terrible portrayal.
Now all eyes are on Shruti Haasan as she is pairing now with John Abraham for his next Welcome back. Actress Asin earlier faced severe criticism for travelling to Sri Lanka when there was a huge protest that stated no movie shooting be held in Sri Lanka. Some groups even demanded Asin's movies to be banned in Tamil Nadu, There were some huge uproar when there was rumor going around Gautham Menon had signed up Asin for his next flick . With Asin still facing huge backlashes for her action, the question on everyone's mind is if Shruti Haasan will face the same situation for acting alongside John Abraham ?

Title controversy is not something new for Kollywood, SP Jananathan 's recently announced Purompokku has joined the long list. Ace cinematographer Natraj or Nutty has stated that the title Purampokku has been registered by him.
The elite cinematographer also takes time off and acts in films, he recently played the main lead in Milaga and Muthukku Muthaaga has stated that he has registered the title "Purompokku" less than eight months before and hence its still valid and is currently gearing up to take up the issue to the Producer's Council.
SP Jananathan Purompokku has Arya and Vijay Sethupathy in the lead, UTV-Disney Movie will produce the movie.

Actor Arya who has produced movies like Boss Engira Bhaskaran under his production house 'The Show People' is all set to don the producer hat once again for a movie titled Amarakaviyam. Director by Jeeva Shankar of Naan fame, the movie will star Arya's brother Sathya in the main lead.
The movie is said to be a period story set around in the 1980's. The complete crew and cast will be finalised soon.

STR's Vaalu Audio launch has been officially scheduled for September 9th. The latest buzz on the album is the possiblity of STR penning a special song for his real and reel lover in Hansika Motwani. STR recently tweeted stating he was working with Thaman for an introduction song in the movie. The composer has already completed 4 racy numbers for this STR starrer.
The last time STR and Thaman teamed up was in Osthi where the duo produced a special song in "Pondatti" and the entire album going on to be a huge chartbuster.
Surya-Samantha-Linguswamy its on Again !!

Actor Surya is all set to commence his Linguswamy project from September. Yes the latest report coming in is that Director Lingusamy has completed penning an altogether different script from the one which was accused of being a copy of Seeman's Upcoming project Pagalavan http://ssmusictheblog.blogspot.in/2013/07/director-seeman-accuses-linguswamy-of.html.
The script will be similar to his Blockbuster Sandakozhi which was initially penned for Vijay and then done by Vishal. Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be the heroine for the movie with Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music and Vijay Milton handling the cinematography and Anthony in charge of the cuts.
The Title of the movie is expected to be out soon.
Vishal Decides to Drop MGR

Vishal's MGR Directed by Sundar.C has been in the shelves for quite a while now. Initially planned as an 2013 Pongal release, The movie is yet the see the light due to various financial issues. However actor Vishal has bought the movie with the help of his financier and is now expected to hit the screens at the earliest.
Vishal in a recent press conference also revealed that he did not want the movie to be titled MGR as it's a very powerful word and has an immense scope for getting misused and hence has decided to drop that film name and change it instead to "Madha Gaja Raja". The movie stars Vishal,Anjali, Varalakshmi and Santhanam.

Ever Since STR announced his next movie was with Director Pandiraj, there were numerous speculations on who would pair up with STR. Initial reports suggested Samantha was approached but Siddarth had intervened had asked Samantha to reject the offer. Then came the reports of STR's real life girlfriend Hansika being signed up to star in this romantic entertainer, However those reports were rubbished off as rumors. Now Taapsee in a recent talk show has revealed that she has indeed been signed up for the project and will star alongside STR in this untitled flick.
Director Pandiraj is currently on a hot streak with the blockbuster success of Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga hopes he gives us a even better entertainer with STR and Taapsee.

- After seeing the Ajith's first look images from Arrambam, STR, Jiiva and Jayam Ravi had sent him a message appreciating Ajith's stylish avatar.
- There is absolutely no romantic scenes whatsoever between Nayanthara and Ajith. Nayanthara appears as someone who helps out Ajith and Marries him in the end.

Jilla's First Look Posters Ready !!

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Jilla is currently progressing at a rapid pace. After wrapping up the three schedules in Karaikudi and Chennai, the team are now heading to shoot action sequences in Andhra Pradesh. The team initially planned to shoot these in Chennai but considering the huge crowd the shooting will draw the makers have shifted to Andhra Pradesh.
