The Grand Plan of Ilayathalapathy Vijay

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is currently the most sought out actor in kollywood, delivering back to back blockbusters. Vijay's 'Thalaiva' schedule in Mumbai ended up yesterday and the team would then move to Australia for its last schedule from March 15th, and by April last week, the entire shoot of Thalaiva would have wrapped up with the movie releasing in month of May'June Release.

Illayathalapathy will then shift towards debutant Nesan's "Jilla' from 2nd of May, with the official press meet scheduled on March 11th, With Jilla being expected to be a Pongal release ,the movie shooting would be completed around december first week.

After Jilla, Vijay would be re-united with A.R,Murugadoss, this project is expected to be kicked off from last week of december or from January 2014.

It is a known fact that Jiiva is a huge fan of Ilayathalapathy Vijay and post Nanban these two have become the thickest of friends. Rumours has it that Jiiva has signed up for Vijay's Jilla which is next in line after 'Thalaiva'. Jilla is set to be produced by Super Good Films which is owned by R.B.Chowdhary also the father of Jiiva. Super Good Films have had a huge impact in Vijay's career producing movies such as  'Poove Unakkaga' and 'Love Today' and off late they have hit a huge slump.Now Vijay is all set to revive this banner and we hear that R.B.Chowdhary has asked Jiiva to block his dates for the movie .'Jilla' already has Malayalam SuperStar Mohanlal in the cast , now with Jiiva joining it is shaping to be one biggie.

Mahat Raghavendra was rumored to be playing Vijay's younger brother in the movie and he had also tweeted confirming the same , but the question now is would Mahat be replaced with Jiiva , or would a new role be drafted out specially for Jiiva, the prospect of having Vijay and Jiiva share the screen again after their rocking performance in 'Nanban'  sounds very impressive indeed.

Having debuted in Kollywood through Mankatha, one of the blockbusters of 2011, Mahat Raghavendra is stepping into Tollywood with Backbench Student. He will be back in Kollywood with a bang playing Ilayathalapathy's brother in the Superstar's next release Jilla, sources revealed.

Jilla, which is to be directed by Nesan has Mohan Lal and Kajal in other prominent roles. The movie which is produced by Super Good Films, will start rolling from May and is expected to be a bilingual release in Tamil and Telugu.

My Fans are my 'Thalaivargal'. The film has nothing to do with Politics .Neither do i lead any group in it ! When you watch the film , you will know the title is justified. Its a New genre for me and A.L Vijay , but the way he his films are very different and intresting . Nirav Shah is the biggest plus to the movie . He is simply awesome. The Movie is extremely well.

On Choosing a Debutant Director for "Jilla" :

If You look at my career , you will know that debutant directors had a major part to play in my success. Rarely, i was fortunate to get movies form big directors like Fazil sir, Shankar Sir and Murugadoss. It is ultimately the script that really warrants a director.

Thalaivaa goes to Oman

The Vijay - Vijay combo have been working god speed to finish their "Thalaiva" project on time and deliver the movie has a birthday treat to all "Illayathalapathy" Fans by releasing it on June 22 which happens to be Vijay's Birthday.

It was earlier reported that "Thalaiva" would be shot in exotic places of Spain but things have changed , The 74 member crew are now heading out to "Oman", where a song and a fight sequence are to be shot.
