Post the tremendous success of Pizza, Director Karthik Subbaraj is currently directing a movie titled "Jigarthanda" starring Siddarth, Lakshmi Menon, Simha and Vijay Sethupathy in a special cameo. The movie is fast progressing in Madurai without much fanfare except the Movie pooja no images or information has been let out to the press with respect to the movie.
However the entire story has now been leaked on the press. So here goes
An upcoming Cinema director(Siddarth) who is in search of a chance, relates the movie story to a producer. The story supposedly is about Dons in Madurai. The Director relates how the Madurai don commits frauds, how he deals with women, enemies and how he gives the slip to the Police. The story he relates happens on the screens which makes the first half of the movie.
After the director relates the story, the Producers credits the director for the story and asks him to go to Madurai to fix the locations and make changes to story if needed. The Director(Siddarth) who visits Madurai comes across the real dons and Dons in reality are stark contrast with those characters in Director's story.
The second half is to be based those Directors real life encounters with the dons. Sources also add the second half is actually kinda of spoof of the previous movies made in Madurai.
