Now the actress in a recent interview to leading channel opened up on her favourite heroes. Here are some of the highlights from the interview
- To the question of which actor is Mass - Lakshmi Menon answered "Ajith Sir, No doubt it's Ajith Sir."
- Best Dancer of Kollywood - Lakshmi Menon named Ilayathalapathy Vijay and STR

Vishal and Shruti Haasan are currently acting in Director Hari's Poojai, The duo was expected to pair up once again in Vishal's Production helmed by Suseendran. But the latest buzz is that Lakshmi Menon has replaced Shruti Haasan to pair up with Vishal for a third time after Pandiya Nadu and Naan Sigappu Manithan.
Vishal confirmed the news to Deccan Chronicle stating “In Susee’s new movie, the heroine has a limited screen space. Though Shruti was initially considered, having acted together in a commercial movie like Poojai, I felt it wouldn’t do justice to her scope of acting. Lakshmi Menon’s case is different Susee feels we are a winning combination. The film is set in a Madurai backdrop and the director insisted that the lead girl should understand Tamil. After considering many heroines, he finally took a call on Lakshmi.”

Recently a case was filed in Chennai High court by a petitioner seeking that actress below 18 years should be banned from acting, He alleged that heroine below 18 years are psychologically affected and also face sexual abuse.
However Honorable Judges Sanjay Kishan and M Satyanarayanan dismissed the petition stating it is every individual's choice to be ambitious in life and court cannot interfere in their personal decisions. Actress like Lakshmi Menon and Thulasi Nair breathed a big sigh of relief after this decision.

Actress Lakshmi Menon slowly and steadily is rising to the top of Industry, She had two huge releases today in Jigarthanda and Avatharam (Malayalam). Lakshmi Menon opened up to deccan chronicle in a recent interview and confessed that she is well aware of her flaws and said "I have many flaws and one them is my looks, I'm very well aware that I'm not beautiful and that i look about average." Lakshmi said she believed luck played a huge part in her career and added many people don't rise to top due to lack to lady luck.
Lakshmi Menon went on reveal that she is awe of STR's looks and said " I admire his attitude, But i'm not desperate to do a movie with him. I would be happy if an offer comes my way".
