Recently a case was filed in Chennai High court by a petitioner seeking that actress below 18 years should be banned from acting, He alleged that heroine below 18 years are psychologically affected and also face sexual abuse.
However Honorable Judges Sanjay Kishan and M Satyanarayanan dismissed the petition stating it is every individual's choice to be ambitious in life and court cannot interfere in their personal decisions. Actress like Lakshmi Menon and Thulasi Nair breathed a big sigh of relief after this decision.

Gautham Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram with Surya has been bagging all the headlines in recent times as the mystery over the lead lady of the movie continues. Right from the start there were numerous reports that either Trisha or Amala Paul would bag the prestigious role.
An another important point to be considered is, the movie being a periodic flick the heroine does a role of school girl and Gautham was more inclined towards Trisha considering their Vinnaithani Vaaruvaaya's success however Surya seems to have intervened and pointed out that Trisha has crossed over age of 30 and it would be mistake if we caste Trisha as a school girl and had recommended Amala Paul instead. Gautham after series of flops was in no position to debate and argue with Surya over the heroine choice seems to have gone with Amala Paul.
With the kollywood industry buzzing with these reports Actress Radha seems have to approached Gautham and as pointed out that her Daughter Thulasi Nair has just completed her 10th and would be more appropriate for the school girl role. However Gautham Menon seems to have managed by stating though she would be appropriate for the school role, the onscreen pairing of Surya-Thulasi wont be that apt.

Lakshmi Menon and Thulasi Nair were the talk of the town after their 10th Standard Results were out. Initial reports of Lakshmi Menon flunking in one of the subjects went absolutely viral all over the internet, However official reports later confirmed that Lakshmi Menon had indeed passed scoring over 85% with Thulasi Nair scoring 458 out of 500.
Both the actress after their 10th results were faced with a decision to make , However now Lakshmi and Thulasi have decided to do their Plus Two in Distance Education mode and have enrolled for postal coaching.

Thulasi Nair and Laskhmi Menon X Standard Results managed to create quite a sensation in social media, Thulasi who scored 458 marks has rather disappointed her mom Radha who says she expected more from her youngest daughter.
Radha said she expected more marks from her daughter as Thulasi is such a brilliant girl but due to her acting assignments she could not concentrate in her exams. Radha went on add that Studies and acting are of equal importance in Thulasi's life.

Lakshmi Menon and Thulasi Nair have managed to breakthrough into kollywood while they were still at school well, they actually still are. The SSLC Board results were out today for both Lakshmi and Thulasi, Lakshmi Menon who has already made it big in kollywood unfortunately could not clear her science paper, she scored 268 overall, Whereas Thulasi who debuted through Mani Ratnam's Kadal top scored with a overall total of 458.

Thulasi Nair who made her dream debut in Kadal received severe criticism for her acting performance , but she did manage to bag an another project in 'Yaan' which was the directorial debut of ace cameraman Ravi K.Chandran.
In a press meet which was held for the movie , Ravi K Chandran revealed that it was Mani Ratnam and Rajiv Menon who recommended Thulasi Nair , the director also added that Yaan a romantic action entertainer will be based on the daily happenings which we come across in newspapers.
Jiiva in the same press meet revealed that he made Thulasi promise to him to not call him Uncle and also added that Thulasi is well prepared and spontaneous as she is already a product of Mani Ratnam.

The Vijaykanth- Radha Combo is back
One of blockbuster pair of yesteryear is back , yes only this time its the second generation that's set to pair up , Radha's daughter who made her debut through 'Kadal' alongside the son of veteran actor 'Karthik' is now all set to pair against Shanmuga Pandiyan the younger son of Vijayakanth. The movie is to be directed by Hari. The director hopes to turn back time and bring the back the romance through these second generation pair.

The 10 Second Smooch that took 4 Hours to Shoot goes Missing in the Movie.
When "Kadal" Trailer was out , one thing that got everyone talking was the passionate lip lock between Goutham Karthik and Thulasi Nair. As we reported earlier this scene took nearly about 4 hours to shoot as Thulasi Nair was very concerned about shooting this scene in public, in front of a huge crowd, despite all that Mani Ratnam went through several takes as he wanted this scene to be picture perfect.But this scene is actually been cut in the theatrical version of the movie.
