Rumours were flying around for days that love has bloomed between Vinay and Laskhmi Rai in their "Onbathula Guru" shoots and that they were seen romancing each other in the sets.
Vinay has totally denied these rumours saying he and Laksmi Rai share a special bond of friendship and that's all there is.But there was also another rumor that Vinay, had requested the director , that he and lakshmi Rai stayed in the same hotel during a shoot which was held in Pondicherry.
When Vinay has quizzed regarding this , here is what Vinay had to say
" I'm from Mangalore whereas she's from Belgaum , we had perfect rapport because of a common mother tongue. We shared good, friendly vibes during the shoot and this helped in finishing the shoot in good time. No doubt Laskhmi is a beautiful and glamorous actress , she's also mighty talented dedicated professional , I really do admire for her, but the fact i asked the director to change the hotel are all just rumors".
