The Reason why Jayam Raja was Missing after Velayudham ?
Director Jayam Raja has been sort of missing after his blockbuster with Ilayathalapathy Vijay in Velayudham. However the director is back and has already started shooting for his untitled flick with Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara.
The director opened up to the Times of India on the project, He said That he has started the film after a gap of almost 2 years and he spent months scripting the movie and it was very close to his heart. He also added it was an experimental script and has put his heart and soul in penning it.
Jayam Ravi and Nayan are currently part of a two day schedule, who will then move to Hyderabad and will travel to Kullu Manali in December.Ramji will be handling the cinematography, Ganesh Venkatram and Harish have also been roped in to play key roles.

There was quite the buzz surrounding the untitled project of the Jayam Brothers, Sources said Jayam Ravi was sweating it out in the gym to reduce weight inorder to pair up the lady superstar of Kollywood Nayanthara. The buzz has been proven right as the actor himself confirmed the project with his tweets. Jayam Ravi's Boologam alongside Trisha, Nimirindhu Nil alongside Amala Paul are awaiting release. On Ilayathalapathy Birthday here is special recap of a special Incident on how Vijay choose a Newcomer Nesan to Direct his Jilla
At time when the leading directors of kollywood are trying their utmost to sign Ilayathalapathy Vijay, it came as big surprise when Vijay choose a debutante director for his Jilla movie. But here is how Nesan bagged that golden opportunity.
Vijay has a habit of usually rewarding the technicians and crew on the last day of the shooting schedule, and so, On Velayadhum's last day of shoot, there was huge suspense on the sets to what gift Vijay was gonna give, unable to bare the surprise Director Jeyam Raja went out to Vijay asked atleast tell me what surprise your gonna give these Assistant directors ? Vijay replied with a smile stating even you wouldn't have expected this surprise.
And Finally when the shooting schedule was done, Vijay called all the 7 assistant directors and said 'I'm gonna ask everyone of you to tell me a story , and to the story i like, i'm gonna give my dates this year itself'. The Story can even be in one line , if your are not ready to direct the story now , you may take your time and get prepared and direct me , but i have to like the story , that's what matters". And eventually after one week , after hearing out everyone's story , Vijay selected Nesan, the Debutante Director.
