Raghava Lawrence's Kanchana is currently being readied for a Bollywood Remake, The horror thriller will once again be directed by Lawrence and will feature Ajay Devgan in the lead role. The makers have however found it very difficult on rope any Bollywood actor for the role enacted by Sarathkumar since it was a role of a Transgender.
Now sources say that Lawrence had decided to cast Sarathkumar for the Bollywood version as well. It's worth mentioning that it has been a long time dream of Sarathkumar to enter into Bollywood. The film will go on floors as soon as Raghava completes his Muni 3.

After Vishal, Karthi Gets into a Fight with Sarath Kumar

Sarath Kumar has come under fire for his actions on demolishing the Nadigar Sangam and building a new one. Vishal was the first to rally the troop against Nadigar Sangam heads Sarathkumar and Radha Ravi.
Vishal wrote a letter demanding explanation on the issue and got it signed by hundreds of actor and actresses including Jiiva, Jayam Ravi, Arya, Santhanam, Nassar, Revathi and so on. Vishal also got the consent of Kamal Haasan.
Recently veteran actor Nassar and Karthi met sarathkumar in person and have demanded explanation regarding his activities in the Artistes Association. Sarath Kumar has however refused to make any comment and added that his lawyer would instead speak for him.
This response by Sarathkumar seems to have infuriated Karthi and Nassar who then got into a heated argument with the former and left saying they this wouldn't be the last of the fight.

Actor Vishal has been getting into series of Controversies of late, It all started when he made remark against the Nadigar Sangam during the time of Ullaganayagan's Vishwaroopam release. Vishal was issued a notice by Nadigar Sangam which is currently being headed by Sarathkumar and Radha Ravi.
Reports also had it that Sarathkumar's action was vindictive of Vishal's alleged relationship with his daughter Varalakshmi which blossomed during the time of Madha Gaja Raja shooting.
Vishal has once again decided to go head on against Sarathkumar for his alleged involvement is demolishing Nadigar Sangam building and building a new one. Vishal has written a letter demanding explanation on the issue and has already got the letter signed by hundreds of actor and acrtresses including Jiiva, Jayam Ravi, Arya, Santhanam, Naasar, Revathi and so. Vishal has already got the consent from Kamal Haasan too and is now looking for Rajinikanth's support for the letter.

Dhruva Natchathiram Sidelined, GVM Takes up Sarathkumar Movie ?

Gautham Menon's last released movie Neethane En Ponvasantham may have fetched him mixed reviews from the fans but its box office collections were nothing close to GVM's standard. After mighty struggle GVM signed on his favourite actor Surya yet again in hopes to revive his career. However the project never really took off. Even after the official pooja of the movie the director was yet to finalize on the heroine and Surya wasn't satisfied with the screenplay either and the actor came out and revealed that Dhruva Natchathiram was delayed due to technical difficulties and he is moving on to Linguswamy's project.
These immediately sparked off reports that Dhruva Natchathiram was dropped , but GVM himself made a tweet stating " Don't write me off as yet guys..No speculation needed. Coming your way, from suriya and myself, a good tamil film. At least we think so."
Now the latest buzz on the project is that Sarathkumar in a recent media Interaction revealed that he has been signed up for Gautham Vasudev Menon's and will begin shooting soon. Now the question is, Has Sarathkumar been signed up to be a part of Dhruva Natchathiram or has GVM sidelined Dhruva Natchathiram for now and is he beginning a new project instead with Sarathkumar ?

Civil Court Sends Notice to Sarathkumar and Radha Ravi

Veteran actor Kumarimuthu was recently removed from the South Indian Actor's association when he demanded on the details of the new building which was being built as he felt there was some misuse of funds.
Kumarimuthu has now filed a complaint to Civil Court stating that the organization has removed him from its member group and the secretary Radha Ravi had also threatened him.
Upon hearing the petetion Civil Court has now sent a notice to the President Sarath Kumar and Secretary Radha Ravi of South Indian Actor's Association.

Its Official Kochadaiyaan is July release
Kochaidaayan is all set to be July release with the audio launch of movie happening in the month of April.
The movie which bears the credit of being first Indian film to have used full fledged motion capture technology is being made at a budget of 125 crores, also starring the likes of Deepika Padukone, Sarathkumar it's stated for release in Tamil Telugu , Hindi and in Japanese with film's distribution rights have been sold at record prices.
Dr.Manohar, the film's Co-Producer confirmed the July release to a bollywood magazine, here is what he had to say "July seems a feasible time. We should be done with all the post-production work by April. Actually we've left all the post-production decisions to Studio D. They decided to edit the film down to a playing-time of 2 Hours 5 minutes,"
