Karthik Subbaraj after his masterpiece of a movie in 'Pizza' is gearing up for his next movie 'Jigarthanda', set in the Madurai backdrop it features Siddarth, Lakshmi Menon and Simha in lead roles with Santhosh Narayanan scoring the music for the flick.
Another exclusive scoop is that Thala Ajith who was all praise for Karthik's Pizza had personally called him up and requested him to write a script for him.  Ajith who would take a break from acting after the completion of Thala 54 inorder to undergo surgery, Would then make a comeback through Karthik Subbaraj's movie .

Vijay Sethupathi the Hat trick hero's next movie is Vasantha Kumaran. Vijay Sethupathi following the success of his Pizza, Nadvuala Konjam Pakkatha Konnom and the recent release Soodhu Kavvum was impressed by his friend Anandkumar's Script and Narration and has agreed to star in the movie. 
Studio 9 are set to produce the movie with Music director Santhosh Narayanan teaming up with Vijay Sethupathi once again. The makers are trying to rope in Lakshmi Menon as one of the heroine, Vasantha Kumaran is expected to be an out and out family comedy entertainer. The Pre-Production works are at full swing with movie shooting expected to start from the month of October.

VIjay Sethupathi Turns Movie Producer

Vijay Sethupathi after his runaway success in Soodhu Kavum which we rate as one of the best movie of the year is now all set to produce his first film 'Sangudevan'. Vijay Sethupathi will be producing this movie on a first copy basis, which will be directed by Sudhakar who was a former associate of Director Hari.
Sources reveal that this movie will be kicked off from June. Dhanshikaa is expected to play the female lead with Santhosh Narayanan scoring the music.
Santhosh Narayanan has previously scored music for two of Vijay Sethupathi's movie in Pizza and Soodhu Kavum.
