Surya's Next is a Romantic Comedy ?

Filmmaker Nalan Kumarasamy is currently the hot shot property in Kollywood after his stupendous debut in Soodhu Kavvum. The director has recently revealed that he has indeed signed up for a new project "I have signed on the dotted line. This project will be an out-and-out rom-com. I have completed the script. The cast and other technicians are yet to be decided. The film shoot will commence by the end of this month."

Sources add Surya might be the playing the lead role in the movie after dropping out of Gautham Menon's Dhuruva Natchathiram and Lingusamy's untitled project. The director himself revealed that "There's a chance that we'll cast a leading star. But, they should fit within the scheme of things of the production house, which has been producing refreshing films with interesting storylines and young talents."

Surya's next with Soodhu Kavum Director

Surya after the trailblazing success of his Singam 2 has signed up to star in Nalan Kumaraswamy script. After the many speculations and clarification Surya will indeed be taking up Linguswamy project with the first look expected to released on August 15th. 

Though Surya and Gautham Menon have insisted that Dhuruva Natchathiram hasn't been dropped, the recent developments of Surya signing up for Soodhu Kavum director simply means the project could be delayed furthermore.
