Suriya's Next is a film dropped by Chiyaan Vikram !

It was officially announced that Suriya next after Venkat Prabhu's Masss would be directed by Vikram Kumar who recently impressed with Telugu blockbuster Manam. Now the latest info on the project is that it was first filmed with Chiyaan Vikram in the lead some 5 years ago.

Vikram K Kumar who debuted into Kollywood with STR's Alai, began shooting for a film titled 24 which starred Chiyaan Vikram and Ileana D'Cruz, the film was however dropped due to unknown reasons and the director after a brief gap of few years, Delivered blockbustes in Yaavarum Nalam to announce his comeback.

Now the director has himself revealed that the main storyline of his film with Suriya is same as the Vikram starrer 24 but he has added certain new elements in terms of narration and screenplay over the 5 years. The film will produced by Suriya's home production D2 Entertainment.
