It's 500 for Vishwaroopam

Vishwaroopam will finally release on January 25th in no less than 500 screens across the states of Tamil Nadu.The date of DTH Premeire hasn't been decided yet but Kamal Haasan says "The Exhibitors have finally understood my vision of DTH being a additional source of revenue".

Vishwaroopam was originally intended to be a pongal release but the theater owners did not agree to DTH premiere that was supposed to happen a day before the on-screen release, therefore they threatened to not the screen the movie.Citing all these circumstance Kamal Haasan decided to push the theater release to a later date Saying "The only reason i have changed the release date is for my convenience and mine alone and the DTH Premiere is my product and i will alone decide what date to the release should be.

Its look like finally Kamal Haasan and the theater owners Association have come to an understanding and Vishwaroopam is all set to release on 25th January.
