No DTH Premiere For Vishwaroopam

Kamal Haasan is one man who believes Cinema is not entirely about making money nor is it entirely a business comoditity. He has endless number of credits to his name , he holds the honour of starring in highest number of movies which have been submitted by India to the Academy Award for Best Foriegn Language Film category.Despite his endless personal achievements he can also be credited for bringing in the latest technologies into our Indian cinema like in for the movie Virumandi where he used the live recording system,He is also the man who inspired Quentin Tarantino to use the animation sequences in his movie Kill Bill. Kamal's Latest Movie Viswaroopam also followed in same footsteps where he attempted a DTH Premier a day before the movie's On-screen release but The Tamilnadu Theatre Owners Association and the Tamil Nadu Film Distributors Federation have decided that Only after 5 Weeks from the On Screen release should the movie be on DTH. It may seem as though Kamal Haasan may have lost this one but you can always count on him to get back and fight much harder he is  our Ullaganayagan after-all.
