The Real Reason why Sonakshi Sinha was dropped in Anjaan ?

As SS Music earlier reported the makers of Anjaan had to rope in Chitrangada Singh to replace Sonakshi Sinha as the latter dropped out due to date clash. Director Lingusamy earlier met the actress and held talks and even officially confirmed Sonakshi was the part of this Surya starrer.

A reliable source has just reported that the date issues weren't the actual reason why Sonakshi Sinha was dropped  "Sonakshi had been approached for a few Tamil films. She was not signed on as she demanded a huge sum. Seems this could be the reason for Anjaan as well. As she demanded a whopping sum for an item song, the makers had to opt for another actress for the song. Now, Chitrangada is shooting for the item number in Mumbai."

It's worth mentioning that Sonakshi Sinha was also the first choice for Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam but the actress dropped out due to unknown reasons.
