After several months of waiting, it's celebration time for Thala fans as Gautham Menon has just tweeted the date the shoot commences and added that the cast and the crew will be announced very soon. The Director of the film GVM had this to tweet
Thank you for waiting, all you eager beavers out there, some patiently, some not so. Ajith, ratnam sir and me. Shoot begins 9th..

According to sources this is the cast and crew we believe might star in Thala 55, Anushka Shetty and Amy Jackson as the female lead and Harris Jayaraj/A.R.Rahman as music director and Australian Dan McArthur has the cinematographer.
