Director STR signs up Anirudh

Anirudh who recently bagged the heavyweight project of A.R Murugadoss and Ilayathalapathy Vijay is now all set to join Hands with our Young Superstar. A while back there were numerous rumors that STR and Anirudh were set to work on Manmadhan 2 , however the rumour never materialized. 

But sources now reveal that Simbu has narrated a new script to Anirudh and this project will kick off as soon as he completes Vaalu and Vettaimannan.  It would be interesting to know if STR handles direction if he does so it would be after a gap of 7 Years (Vallavan 2006).
