Actor Karthi who is desperate for a hit following the series of debacles in Saguni, Alex Pandiyan and All in All Azhagu Raja has made a smart decision. The actor's Biriyani movie which was initially slated for release on Pongal was supposed to take on Thala's Veeram, Thalapathy's Jilla and recent addition Superstar's Kochadaiyaan. However sensing this heavy competition and also in effort to compensate for All in All Azhagu Raja's failure Studio Green and Karthi have officially announced that Biriyani will now releasing on the 20th of December along with Jiiva's Endrendrum Punnagai.
