Balki, The Bollywood Director who has delivered few gems in Cheeni Kum and Paa is currently directing Shamitabh featuring the stellar star cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan. The Film also features two legends in Ilayaraja and PC Sreeram.
Now Director Balki in a recent interview revealed that he is a fan of Dhanush, "I have been a big fan of his acting since Kadhal Kondein. He is an original actor and he doesn't remind me of any other actor. When you see the film, you will know why I chose him for the character. "

It's Official Now Dhanush Replaces Shah Rukh Khan

As SS Music earlier reported there was a huge buzz going around that Dhanush would pair up with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan for ace Director Balki's next. Some were circumspect with the report because Shah Rukh Khan had already allocated his dates for this Balki flick and reports that Dhanush would replace SRK was too unreal for many. However Dhanush has himself confirmed that he has indeen been signed up by the Cheeni Kum and Paa Director to share screen space with Big B. Ilayaraja would be scoring the music with P.C.Sreeram being the cinematographer. Akshara Haasan was also associated the same project but we are yet to receive confirmation on that.

Akshara Haasan, the youngest daughter of Kamal Haasan has just officially confirmed her acting debut in the above project. The actress who turned down several movie offers in the past just couldn't resist being part of such an illustrious project. Akshara had this to say..
