Lingusamy's Yenni Ezhu Naal Dropped ?

Director Lingusamy last directorial Anjaan set the perfect example on how social media can be used to extensively promote a film. The buzz around the film was absolutely immense but once the film was found out for lack of content the entire promotion backfired leading to countless memes and trolls mocking a particular Lingusamy interview where he was quoted saying he has 'tuned' himself to the script (Naan appadiye tune aayirukein) and that he applied all that he has learnt in these years of cinema in Anjaan (Kathu Kita Motha Vithayum Eraki Iruken).
Lingusamy before the release of Anjaan announced that his next would be with Karthi and even announced the film's title Yenni Ezhu Naal but Karthi who is currently into Komban has signed up for a bilingual with Nagarjuna which is directed by Vamsi. This has posed a question if Yenni Ezhu Naal has been dropped ?
However the buzz is that Lingusamy is working on this script again to ensure it's perfect and asked Karthi some time to complete the script work and hence the delay. Sources add once Lingusamy completes the script work he will kickstart Yenni Ezhu Naal again.

Actor Karthi is back to his very best after delivering a stupendous performance in Madras. Now he is all set to team up with Nagarjuna for a bilingual which will be made in both Tamil and Telugu. The film will be directed by Vamsi Paidipally who has directed two blockbusters in Brindavanam and Yevadu.
Rajeev Kamineni who is part of this project had this to say to Times of India "We were looking at two heroes who had some presence in both the Tamil and Telugu film industries. Though Nagarjuna has done very few Tamil films, he is well known in Tamil Nadu and Karthi's films have been doing well in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. We approached Karthi even before the release of Madras and he was happy with the script and even gave a couple of inputs. There will be one main heroine and we are looking to cast a top heroine for the role. The others are also being finalized."

Fans and critics alike have showered praises upon Madras, Karthi's stupendous performance, Santosh Narayanan's rocking BGM, G. Murali's cinematography, Praveen K.L's slick editing and Pa.Ranjith's overall direction together delivered a film which was as close to reality as possible.
Now the latest is that Karthi's Madras is the first and only film this year to top the Chennai Box Office for three consecutive weekends despite numerous releases and severe competition that exists in current market.

After the stupendous success of Madras, Catherine Tresa seems to be the toast of Kollywood. The actress is reportedly playing the female lead in a Suriya Starrer. A source close to the actress reported to Times of India that "Catherine loved the role and is very excited about the prospect of being paired opposite Suriya. It's a very whacky character and the filmmakers believe she would be able to carry it off with aplomb. Discussions are on and if all goes according to plan, Catherine would be sharing the screen with Suriya soon."
Looks like Catherine is well on her way to capturing a strong foothold in Kollywood. The actress next release is Kanithan with Adharva Murali.

Actor Vishal in an earlier general body meeting stated that his friends and co-actors Arya, Jiiva, Jayam Ravi and Karthi are ready to act in a multi starrer movie and give all the proceeds of the film to facilitate the construction of a new building complex for Nadigar Sangam.
Vishal in a recent media interaction for his upcoming Diwali release Poojai once again restated the plan on this multi-starrer stating the film will go on floors in 2015. Vishal added that the Director and other star cast are yet to be finalised but He along with Arya, Jiiva, Jayam Ravi and Karthi will act for free in this film.

Karthi has made a stupendous comeback with Madras, Fans and critics alike have been absolutely raving about the film and its realistic portal of North Madras. Now there is a buzz going around that Director Pa.Ranjith initially narrated the script to actor Jiiva but due to certain unknown reasons he opted out of the film.
Sources also add that the film's script was initially sent to Karthi only to get an opinion on the script, but once he read the script Karthi immediately approached Ranjith and expressed his desire to play the lead role. The film was interestingly first titled as Kaali but later changed to Madras.

Karthi in Dhanush's Anegan !

Fans there is currently a buzz going around in Kollywood that actor Karthi has a part to play in Dhanush's Anegan with K.V Anand. The female lead of the film Amyra Dastur in a recent interview revealed that both Dhanush and the heroine play more than one role in the film spread across different Timelines.
Hence the Director K.V Anand wanted to have known voice to introduce the characters in the film and has apparently gone with Karthi for the introductory voiceover. Anegan features Dhanush, Bollywood heroine Amyra Dastur, Navarasa Nayagan Karthik.
Harris Jayaraj recently tweeted that the film's audio will be out by early October, The film is slated for November release.

Kashmora meaning deadly spirit, will be directed by Gokul of Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara who officially confirmed that “Yes, Karthi is my hero. Actor Karthi who is currently into Kombam movie was hospitalized yesterday due to food Poisoning, The star actor suffered from food poison during the film's shoot and immediately rushed to a private hospital in Chennai and was treated for the fever which was caused due to food poisoning. Much to the fans joy, Karthi recovered quickly and posted this in his official facebook page

Karthik takes up a movie rejected by Suriya !

Actor Karthi who delivered a long awaited blockbuster in Biriyani has completed shooting for Madras and is currently into Komban with Muthaiah who directed Sasi Kumar's Kutti Pulli. Karthi would then move onto Lingusamy's Enni Ezhu Naal.
An interesting fact about this movie was revealed by Karthi's brother Suriya in the recently held audio launch of Anjaan, Suriya said before Anjaan, Lingusamy had narrated to him three other scripts but he chose Anjaan because it was the one which suited him, He went on add that one of the stories which had said no to was the story of Enni Ezhu Naal which his Younger Brother Karthi is now starring in.

Reason why Karthi's Madras has been Postponed !

Karthi's Madras which was initially set to hit the screens on July 25th has now been postponed to August. The film starring Karthi, Catherine Tresa has been postponed by the makers Studio Green considering the huge number of movies that are targeting the same release date.
Dhanush's VIP will release on July 18th while Karthik Subbaraj Jigarthanda is also slated for July 25th, Vijay Anthony's Salim and Sarabham are also targeting July 25th release date. Trade Analysts consider this postponement a smarter move as their film would get a wider release next month.

Actor Karthi is gearing up for his next film Komban which will be directed by Muthiah of Kutti Pulli fame. The film set in Ramanathapuram, and has Lakshmi Menon playing the female lead and Raj Kiran playing an crucial role. After Paruthi Veeran this will be the first time Karthi will sport rural get-up.
Actress Lakshmi Menon in a recent media interaction revealed she had actually decided not to sign any more movies until she finishes her 12th grade but after hearing the film's story she just could not say no and hence she signed up for the film.
