The latest buzz going around in K'town is that Vijay has accepted to do a cameo in Sagaptham the debut movie of Vijayakanth's son Shanmuga Pandian. Sources add that Vijay has accepted this role has an thanksgiving gesture to the favour done by Vijayakanth in the early film career of Vijay.
Even Vijay's father Chandrasekhar who spoke at the Sagaptham launch said that after his maiden project with his son in Naalaya Theerpu he had lost a lot of money and it was this juncture did he feel that Vijay should do a film with an established actor and that's when Vijayakanth stepped in. SA Chandrasekar added Vijayakanth did the film for the free and ensured the movie was wrapped in quick time too. The movie in question was Senthoorapandi where both Vijay and Vijayakanth acted together.

Who's the Heroine for Vijaykanth's Son ?
It's known that Captain Vijayakanth's son Shanmuga Pandian is all set to make his Kollywood debut as hero in Sagapatham. The latest buzz going around regarding movie is that the makers are trying to rope in actress Sri Devi's Jhanvi.
Sagaptham's shoot is expected to start from Pongal, Santhosh Kumar Rajan will wield the megaphone for the movie and will be produced under Captain Cine Creations Banner.

Producer SA Chandrasekar, the father of Ilayathalapathy Vijay revealed some unknown facts about Vijayakanth during the launch of his son Shanmuga Pandian in Sagaptham. Chandrasekar said after his maiden project with his son in Naalaya Theerpu he had lost a lot of money and it was this juncture did he feel that Vijay should do a film with an established actor and that's when Vijayakanth stepped in.
SA Chandrasekar added Vijayakanth did the film for the free and ensured the movie was wrapped in quick time too. The movie in question was Senthoorapandi where both Vijay and Vijayakanth acted together.

The Vijaykanth- Radha Combo is back
One of blockbuster pair of yesteryear is back , yes only this time its the second generation that's set to pair up , Radha's daughter who made her debut through 'Kadal' alongside the son of veteran actor 'Karthik' is now all set to pair against Shanmuga Pandiyan the younger son of Vijayakanth. The movie is to be directed by Hari. The director hopes to turn back time and bring the back the romance through these second generation pair.
