Ilayathalapathy's 58th film is already off to a rocking start, Directed by Chimbudevan the first song titled Veerapandiya has been completed. The song featured Vijay, Sudeep, Hansika as the princess and the legendary Sri Devi.
Sri Devi had this to say on this Ilayathalapathy starrer "I've never played a character like this is my career. I was thrilled to listen to director Chimbhu Devan narrate the story. I've just finished shooting for a song with Vijay, Hansika and Sudeep. The film will have many never seen before elements. I will talk more about the film closer to the release."

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's #Vijay58 with Chimbudevan was kicked off with a grand song featuring Ilayathalapathy, Shruti and Hansika. The film's first schedule is expected to go on for 45 days until the mid of december.
Naan E fame Sudeep was rumored to play Vijay's elder brother, But the star actor in a recent interview to Bangalore Mirror clarified on his role and had this to say "My role is that of the antagonist. It is a fantasy film and Sridevi plays the queen of a kingdom. I play the role who is the commander of this kingdom," said Sudeep.
On Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Sudeep said "He is the biggest star of the generation and lot of care has been taken to showcase his image. Whatever role he plays, it is expected that he should do a bit of comedy, dance and do a lot of things in every film. Vijay's role is nicely detailed. I will not say I play a parallel hero. My role is of the antagonist. It is not about playing an evil character. There are good and bad and lots of things. If it was just a negative character, I would not have been approached."

Big Clarification on #Thala56

Fans with even the title of #Thala55 still unknown, fans are already upbeat regarding Thala's next offering #Thala56 with Director Siruthai Siva. The re-union of Veeram team has created a huge buzz, the director has completed the script and has officially confirmed Santhanam's presence in the film. But of late there were numerous rumors that Hansika Motwani has been cast as the female lead in the film but Siva has clarified that "These are rumors and Hansika is not playing the female lead".
Earlier Vidya balan name was also associated with this urban entertainer now names of Kajal Aggarwal and Tamanna are considered to be prime candidates.

Actor STR's last film film release might have been way back in 2012, But the Manmadhan of Kollywood has never been off headlines. The Stylish STR recently opened up in an interview to The Hindu and talked about Nayanthara, Hansika and his recent controversy, Here are some highlights from the interview
Regarding the Harshika Kissing Video controversy - STR said on the day the video released i was flooded with messages.. "I asked them what i did in the video ? They said you kissed a girl. Did i stab anyone with a knife, i just kissed right...Everyone does it ! Next time i plan to put up a video with better lighting. But it wasn't me in the video".
On acting with an ex in Nayanthara - "Firstly, me and Nayan did not have a fight of any sorts, we just didn't get along at that point of time and hence we broke up. There is nothing between us, she minds her business i mind mine and Hence it's easy to act together".
If Hansika or Nayanthara comeback to propose to You ? - "No matter who it is, if a girl comes and says i love only you and i want marry you then i would definitely do. I should like the girl 100% that's it".
