Actress Vidya Balan one of the purest performers in the industry today has been approached by Kollywood film-makers numerous times, Even Superstar wanted the Kahaani heroine in his films but the actress Kollywood debut has been elusive.
There is however a huge buzz in Bollywood circles that Vidya Balan might finally make her K'Town entry in a Thala starrer directed by Veeram fame Siva. Though the director brushed it away as rumor the buzz just keep getting bigger and bigger. Will Vidya Balan finally yes to Kollywood ? Thats the million dollar question which the actress needs to clarify.

Director Siva who delivered a mass blockbuster with Thala in Veeram has been rumored to be gearing up to direct yet another Thala starrer. A reliable source has clarified that Siruthai Siva is indeed working on the film and is currently involved in the script work which he claims to complete it by June.
There are also some reports that Siruthai Siva has approached National Award Winner Vidya Balan for this Thala starrer paving the way for the Bollywood actresses Tamil Debut. The director however categorically denied the rumor stating he is just in scripting process and he would think of cast and crew only after the final script is completed.

Sekhar Kammula's remake of the critically acclaimed Kahaani is very progressing at a very rapid pace and is slated for a Diwali release. The director revealed that the film's plot was mostly the same and the one major change from Vidya Balan's version is, Nayanthara won't be pregnant in the movie.
Another interesting buzz on the movie is that Priya Mani had danced an item number of the remake which is produced by Viacom18 Motion pictures which also stars Vaibhav Reddy in the lead role.

Superstar Wants Vidya Balan Again
Superstar Rajinikanth has an eye for spotting potential, Vidya Balan has currently been under Superstar's radar for quite a while now. It's known fact that Superstar offered a role for Vidya Balan in 'Rana' but she turned down the offer citing the script lacked detail and the offer was too sketchy. However Superstar persisted offering her yet another role in 'Kochadaiyaan' has he thought Vidya Balan was one heroine with amazing potential, But due to various reason Deepika Padukone was signed up for that project.
The Latest buzz is that our Superstar has desired his interest to rope in Vidya Balan for his next movie , Would Vidya Balan finally say yes to Superstar ? Well we have to just wait to find out.

Vidya Balan joins Nicole Kidman, Christopher Waltz
Actress Vidya Balan has selected to be a Jury member of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Vidya Balan who broke the bollywood stereotypes with movies like 'The Dirty Picture' and 'Kahaani' will be joining the likes Nicole Kidman, Christopher Waltz and Steven Spielberg.
It's a known fact that Cannes has invited India this year to celebrate 100 years of Indian Cinema. Superstar's Kochadaiyaan and Amitabh Bachchan's 'The Great Gatsby' have been scheduled to premiere in this year's Cannes.

No More Love Scenes for a 35 year old like Me - Vidya Balan
Not a single heroine in Indian cinema would come out and make such a bold statement about how old she is , Well Vidya Balan has done just that, in a recent interview Vidya Balan has openly declared that she has crossed 35 years now.
Vidya Balan also added that being 35 years old she will not be doing love scenes , rather i will do character oriented roles said Vidya, she also added saying "It was the character oriented roles in her recent movies like 'The Dirty Picture', 'Kahaani' that fetched huge responses from the fans, Dirty Picture even fetched me the National Award.
Vidya Balan also remarked that winning awards meant more her to than getting huge salaries for a movie.
