Lingusamy's Yenni Ezhu Naal Dropped ?

Director Lingusamy last directorial Anjaan set the perfect example on how social media can be used to extensively promote a film. The buzz around the film was absolutely immense but once the film was found out for lack of content the entire promotion backfired leading to countless memes and trolls mocking a particular Lingusamy interview where he was quoted saying he has 'tuned' himself to the script (Naan appadiye tune aayirukein) and that he applied all that he has learnt in these years of cinema in Anjaan (Kathu Kita Motha Vithayum Eraki Iruken). 

Lingusamy before the release of Anjaan announced that his next would be with Karthi and even announced the film's title Yenni Ezhu Naal but Karthi who is currently into Komban has signed up for a bilingual with Nagarjuna which is directed by Vamsi. This has posed a question if Yenni Ezhu Naal has been dropped ?  

However the buzz is that Lingusamy is working on this script again to ensure it's perfect and asked Karthi some time to complete the script work and hence the delay. Sources add once Lingusamy completes the script work he will kickstart Yenni Ezhu Naal again.

Venkat Prabhu talks about Lingusamy Trolls !

Social Media for the past two days has gone absolutely berserk in creating multiple memes on Director Lingusamy's words which he said on a popular TV channel prior to the release of Anjaan movie.

Lingusamy in that particular interview said he has 'tuned' himself to the script (Naan appadiye tune aayirukein) and that he applied all that he has learnt in these years of cinema in Anjaan (Kathu Kita Motha Vithayum Eraki Iruken). 

Director Venkat Prabhu has now come in defense of the ace director who has delivered some massive hits like Run and Sandakozhi. Venkat Prabhu had this to post in his official facebook page on Lingusamy

"Movie making is not as easy as u think guys!! We always do our best!! Sometimes it works out and most of the times it don't. Lingusami Saar is a great film maker!! I worked with him in Ji!!! Every creators are not god!! Even god made mistakes in his creations!! So who are we to judge!!

Hehehe all u guys are so funny but no one makes sense!! Everything that matters to u is whether a movie is a hit or not!! If u guys are good audience why didn't u make thanga meengal a hit!!!?!???????? U can only troll us!! But what if we trolled u?!?! We make the movies for u!! Fans, there is currently a hot buzz going around in K'town that Director and Producer Lingusamy might team up with Thala Ajith next. Well the Anjaan director has come forward and offered to produce Thala 56 which is set to directed by Siruthai Siva.

Siruthai Siva who teamed up with Thala in Veeram is currently penning the script for Thala 56. While Thala 55 with Gautham Menon is currently progressing in Sikkim and so are the trailer works for the film.

Bribery behind Anjaan U Certificate ?

Ever since Anjaan released, Numerous film critics were baffled and questioned how the film received a U Certificate when it had a lot of violence, blood shed, a Bikini scene plus some extra glamorous scenes. Now the latest buzz has reported by the Times of India is that  the film had apparently got the U Certificate through bribery, It is alleged that Central Board of Film Certification CEO Rakesh Kumar took an i-phone and a laptop to issue Censor Certificate to 'Anjaan'.

The Central Bureau of Investigation, probing the alleged bribery case against Central Board of Film Certification CEO Rakesh Kumar, has sought a list from the Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry of all the movies, promos and ad films cleared by Mr. Kumar during his tenure. He also allegedly took Rs. 50,000 as illegal gratification for screening of its Telugu version Sikandar , the CBI remand copy read.

Well, fans Anjaan is all set for a thunderous opening tomorrow, The online booking for the film has been nothing short of tremendous. Now the latest is that Telugu Distributor Lagadapati Sridhar has revealed some big secrets on the film.

Sridhar revealed that the film is a revenge drama like Ghajini and Baasha and went on to add that Suriya is not playing a dual role in the film like everyone thinks but he will be seen in two different characters like Ghajini. Surya's Anjaan much expected Trailer will be out on 5th July, But the latest buzz on the film is that the makers are expecting the film to be the first Tamil movie to gross 150 crores worldwide in Year 2014. Director Linguswamy after rather disappointing outing in Vettai has worked 2 years to bring this film to life, Actor Surya was also committed to the film to the extent that he did not sign nor act in any-other film until it's completion.  

The Film is reportdely being made at a budget of 70 crores and the film will simultaneously release in both Tamil and Telugu. Linguswamy was also very confident in saying that this film would do for Surya what Billa and Thuppakki did for Ajith and Vijay.

How did Surya actually get injured ?

There was a recent buzz that Singam star Surya was injured in the sets of Anjaan, though the makers brushed it away as rumors the actor was actually seen sporting crutches while casting his vote in Chennai on 24th of April.

Lingusamy has now clarified on how the star actor actually got hurt, The ace director said a fighter who weighed 120 kgs actually fell from a height onto Surya's leg and this caused a minor ligament tear to Surya. Lingusamy went on to add that though the entire unit panicked Surya was very calm and always committed to the movie.

Anjaan is currently slated for an Independence Day release.

Chiyaan Vikram to do What Kamal Haasan Missed out on ?

Our SS Music fans would remember that there was huge buzz that Kamal Haasan would star in the Tamil remake of Bollywood blockbuster Special 26. There were even talks that Lingusamy would produce this Kamal Haasan starrer but this remake was shelved and Uthama Villain began which is also produced by Lingusamy's Thirupathi Brothers.

Sources now report that the other producer of Thirupathi Brothers Subhash Chandra Bose who holds the remake rights of Special 26 has approached Chiyaan Vikram, who has reportedly given green light for the film. Sources add Sathyaraj will reprise Anupam Kher's role in the film. There were also reports that Chiyaan's next would be with Vijay Milton and produced by A.R.Murugadoss, Only an official confirmation would clear the air.Watch this space for more updates!

The third schedule of Surya's Anjaan is currently happening in Mumbai, the shooting came to an premature end yesterday, March 30th 2014, When a handful of protestors attempted to disrupt the shooting which forced the makers to pack up and leave in order to avoid a clash. 

This group was protesting against the screening of Inam. It may be mentioned here that Inam was directed by Santosh Sivan, who is the cinematographer for Anjaan and was distributed by the film’s director Lingusamy through his banner Tirupathi Brothers. It's worth mentioning that Lingusamy later sent out a press release stating the movie Inam will no longer be screened in theatres.

The Reason why Sonakshi Sinha Dropped out of Anjaan ?

As SS Music earlier reported Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha was signed up to do an item role in Surya's Anjaan which was also confirmed by Director Linguswamy.

Sources have now reported that Sonakshi Sinha has however opted out the project and Chitrangada Singh has been signed up instead. "Chitrangada has been shooting for the past two days in a huge set with a grand backdrop. The set has been erected for this particular number that will lead to the climax sequence. Though Suriya will not be dancing with her, he will be seen in this song, in which Manoj Bajpai will also make an appearance."

To the question why Sonakshi Sinha opted out, It was reported that "Sonakshi Sinha couldn't allot the same dates as that of Manoj Bajpai for the song and that's why the makers had to opt for another actress."

Surya is software engineer who works in Chennai, He travels to Mumbai for a work related affair and witnesses a social injustice and questions the act. Surya returns to Chennai to find out he has been sacked from his work and his subjected to death threats. His entire family is threatened by mystery persons not knowing what's going on Surya realizes that this might be connected to the issue in Mumbai.

Knowing that he must save his family and lover Samantha from the underworld network in Mumbai he decides to become a don himself and meet the problem head on, Whether Surya manages to save his family and Samantha will be told in Lingusamy's action filled screenplay.
