Update on Thala 56 !

With countdown intensifying for Yennai Arindhaal's release, Here is a huge update on Thala's 56th film with Director Siva. The buzz is that Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander will compose music for this Thala starrer, Anirudh who has delivered 7 Chartbusters album in a row has admitted that he is huge Thala fan and would love to compose for Thala.

The film is expected to kick off from 5th February and the makers are targeting a Diwali release. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is expected to play the female lead, An official confirmation is expected post Yennai Arindhaal release.

Thala Ajith after Gautham Menon's Yennai Arindhaal will star in Siruthai Siva's direction once again. The Veeram team have re-united once again this time for a complete urban entertainer. Recent buzz had it that this Thala starrer would have two heroines and the names of Samantha and Shruti Haasan were in the mix. 

Director Siruthai Siva has however clarified that no decisions have been made so far regarding the heroines nor the music director of the film. But the director has apparently revealed that the film is being at a massive budget of 86 Crores.

The Veeram team will commence their next film from January next year which is expected to be set in urban background unlike Veeram which was based in Rural area.

Sources also add that Thala56 will have two heroines and the team are on hunt to pick the right candidates for the role. The official announcement on heroines and Music Director is expected to be made soon.

Fans with even the title of #Thala55 still unknown, fans are already upbeat regarding Thala's next offering #Thala56 with Director Siruthai Siva. The re-union of Veeram team has created a huge buzz, the director has completed the script and has officially confirmed Santhanam's presence in the film. But of late there were numerous rumors that Hansika Motwani has been cast as the female lead in the film but Siva has clarified that "These are rumors and Hansika is not playing the female lead". 

Earlier Vidya balan name was also associated with this urban entertainer now names of Kajal Aggarwal and Tamanna are considered to be prime candidates.

Siruthai Siva reveals some secrets on Thala 56 !

It's already a known fact that Siruthai Siva will once again direct Ajith for Thala 56, In a recent media interaction the Veeram director revealed few secrets on the film, Siva stated that Thala 56 will have a never before attempted storyline in Kollywood and he is currently doing his utmost to perfect the script.

Siva also added that once he completes the script work, they will head straight into shooting as Ajith has already given the green light, "Ajith Sir told me that this film will be big hit, The story you narrated was very good and you bring to screen what you narrate" said Siva.

Siva concluded saying that Directing Ajith is a dream come true and he is a gem of a person and one can learn a lot from him.

Bollywood Superstar For Veeram Remake

Thala Ajith's record setting pongal blockbuster Veeram is now heading to Bollywood. If reports are to be believed Bollywood's Dabaang hero Salman Khan will be reprising Ajith's role. Salman Khan himself has recently said in the press meet of Jai Ho that he has no qualms in remaking South Indian movies. Sources also add that this statement was made in line with the Veeram remake which he has been approached for.

Reports also add that Pritish Nandy has acquired the rights of Veeram and Jacqueline Fernandez will be stepping into the shoes of Tamanna Bhatia in the Bollywood version. All three Pritish Nandy, Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez were spotted at Mehboob studios in Mumbai discussing the script changes to Veeram. Siruthai Siva will be wielding the megaphone for this Bollywood Remake too.

Why Jilla and Veeram Director Haven't Seen their movies ?

Director Nesan who is currently basking in the glory of Jilla Success recently opened up in a interview and revealed some intresting insights on both Jilla and Thala's Veeram. The Director who was the senior to Siruthai Siva in Chennai Film Institute said Siva had called him and asked if he had seen Veeram to which he in turn questioned Siva if he had seen Jilla. The Director revealed that both haven't seen the movie in fear that the fans would bully them and had hence planned to watch their movies Veeram and Jilla together so they protect each other.

To the question of if he had any regrets about Jilla, Nesan made a honest statement saying "The film could have been better, especially the screenplay and the length too was a bit of a problem". Nesan went on add that it was indeed very difficult to get the right balance between two powerful stars in Mohanlal and Vijay and regretted saying he couldn't do complete justice to Mohanlal has his story did not provide enough room for an actor of such caliber.

Director Siruthai Siva who rose to fame with blockbuster Siruthai is all set to deliver Thala's Veeram for Pongal. The Director in a recent interview to Behindwoods was asked about the prospect of Thala & Thalapathy movies clashing on the same day after a period of 7 years 

This is what Veeram Director had to say

Both the films should succeed. This is not a cricket match and here both teams can win. I am very close to Vijay Sir and we were living in the same area. Nesan was my senior in film school and I wish that Jilla becomes a big success too. With respect to Veeram, we were clear from the beginning about a Pongal release and with Jilla also releasing on the same day, I am very happy. I, as an audience, will happily see both films on Pongal day.

Director Siruthai Siva of Veeram opened up to the Times of India and revealed the answer to the million dollar question..How was the intro song of Thala in Veeram filmed ?  

Here is the excerpts from the interview 

"We wanted to film the intro song of Ajith in a special way. So, we decided to incorporate both action stunts and dance movements in it. Choreographer Prem Rakshit and stunt director Selvam put their heads together and came up with very interesting and challenging steps for this song. I think this is probably the first time that both a dance master and a stunt master are working on a song.We have filmed this one on Ajith and his brothers (played by Vitharth, Bala, Munish and Suhail Chandhok), and this number will introduce the characters they play to the audience, This number won't be like the background songs that play during action sequences in other films."

With Thala's Arrambam still ruling the roost in Box office, All eyes are set on Ajith's Pongal treat Veeram. The Director of the movie Siruthai Siva in a recent interview recalled an incident which happened while they were shooting at Switzerland.

According to the director, The heavy lights which were used in shooting created an sort of eye allergy for the people involved in the shoot and were all affected by it. It was Ajith who personally visited all the technicians room and applied eye medication. The entire team were moved by Ajith's humble gesture and Director Siva states “He is not actor Ajith but is Doctor Ajith!”

Big Argument at Ajith's Veeram shooting spot - Shoot Called off

Thala Ajith's Pongal fest Veeram is currently being shot at Ramoji film studio in Hyderabad. The team were picturing an important stunt sequences choreographed by Stuntmaster  Silva when the Andhra Pradesh Stunt Union members interrupted the shooting. The Union members were revolting since the stunt master wasn't following the 70-30 rule that is enforced by Andhra Stunt Union regarding number of local fighters when shooting in Andhra pradesh.

There was a heated argument between Silva and Stunt union members but realizing that the argument went out of hand, the shooting was cancelled. Director Siva however was in no mood to yield and instead shot scenes involving Ajith and Tamannah.

Thala Fans disappointed over Thala 53 title

The Man of Mass & Class Thala Ajith Kumar's current two movies are still officially untitled. Last week there were rumors of Thala 54 with Siruthai Siva being titled as "Vinayagam Brothers", however the title seemed rather unlikely after Vidyu Raman who is part of the movie cast, rubbished it off as a rumor. 

Then came the reports of Thala 53 being titled as "Ucham Nee", but this time neither the crew nor the cast of Thala 53 denied nor confirmed the report, they remained tight lipped when the title went viral over all forms of social media. However Thala fans were quick to express their discontent over the title, though some fans preferred the title some felt Valai was far better title than this.

Let's hope the mystery over Thala 53 and Thala 54 is uncovered soon.

'Thala 54' project with Siruthai Siva has been hitting the headlines for the past few days. As SS Music earlier reported there were talks of Thala 54 being titled as Vinayagam Brothers but that title looks very unlikely after Vidyullekha Raman rubbished off it as rumor. 

Now the latest buzz on Thala 54 is that Suza Kumar who made her kollywood debut in Ethir Neechal has been officially signed up to star in Thala 54. Here is what Suza had to say on the bagging the prestigious project.

“I play the girlfriend of Vidharth, who is Ajith’s brother in the film. I’m very excited and I said yes to the project as soon as I heard it was an Ajith film. I admire him a lot and feel blessed to work with him so early in my career. I met him the first day and got to talk with him. He was very encouraging and blessed me. He is one of the sweetest and humblest persons I have ever met. In fact, I still can’t get over the fact that I actually got to meet him.”
