Mirchi Shiva is currently on a roll with Ya Ya and Vanakkam Chennai progressing at a very rapid pace. In a recent interview the comedy Hero was asked about his title Agila Ulaga Superstar and if he insists the title being present on the movie title cards.
Shiva replied stating he never insists on having such titles to his name and it's the decision taken by the directors and producers and he doesn't interfere in such issues. Shiva further added that he is not likely to be named the Next Superstar at any cost and hence the interviewers need not post such questions regarding his title 'Agila Ulaga Superstar' !

No Ban on Thillu Mullu

As SS Music reported yesterday Veteran Director Visu filled an petition to ban Thillu Mullu. Visu who had written the screenplay and dialogue for the Superstar Yesteryear blockbuster claimed the makers of the remake failed to obtain permission from him for the remake.However Chennai High Court has dismissed Visu' petition today, The Thillu Mullu's team lawyer explained to the judge that they have indeed got permission from Gol Maal and Thillu Mullu Producers and their movie team have not used Visu's screenplay nor dialogue.
Thillu Millu is all set to hit the screens tomorrow.

Director Visu Wants Thillu Mullu to be Banned

Director Visu one of the veteran directors of Kollywood, Who recently lost out to Vikraman in the election for Direction's Council has filled an High Court petition seeking a ban on Thillu Millu movie which is slated for a Friday release.
Thillu Millu featuring Shiva and Isha Talwar is remake of Superstar's Classic hit Thillu Millu , Director Visu who penned the screenplay and dialogues for the yesteryear movie wants a ban to be imposed. Visu has claimed the makers have not obtained his permission for the remake and hence it must be banned.
However the question on every kollywood member and fans lips is, What was Visu doing so long or wasn't he aware of the movie being made or is it just a marketing ploy by the makers to gain publicity for their movie ?
