It's known that Sunny Leone was reported to be the first choice for an item number in Director Kannan's Oru Oorla Rendu Raja starring Vemal, Priya Anand and Soori. The Bollywood babe has however been replaced by Vaagai Sooda Vaa girl Iniya, The director reasoned out the choice stating "She can pull of the dance number without making it looking vulgar".
The item number which has been sung by actress Lakshmi Menon will be shot in a decorated lorry, on the Dindigul-Chennai highway, for three days next week. Director Kannan said "I wanted someone who could convey emotions with facial expressions. I was considering a couple of names. Ineya is a trained dancer, and she can easily pull off the dance number without making it look vulgar."

The Shocking truth behind Iniya's house robbery.

As SS Music earlier reported, Actress Iniya of Vaagai Sooda Vaa Fame was recently robbed. The actress had gone out with her family to a night show only to return and discover that 10 sovereigns of Gold and cash worth of 15 lakhs had been stolen. A police complaint was immediately lodged by Iniya's father.
Now the latest is that the Police have arrested Iniya's sister Fiance for this burglary. Iniya sister Swathi is a Television serial actress in Kerala and was in love with an employee working at a paint shop near their place in Thiruvananthapuram Kerala. Their family initially did not approve this match, but after Swathi's persistence they agreed. Sources reveal that it was Swathi's fiance who planned this burglary with his friends and hence the arrest.

Actress Iniya who shot to fame with Vaagai Sooda Vaa is one the natural performers in industry today, The actress was last seen in Vishal's Naan Sigappu Manithan where she played a negative role in the film. Now the latest update on Iniya is that she has been a victim of robbery.
Iniya and her family had gone to watch a night show in nearby theatre but when they returned home to their residence in Thiruvananthapuram Kerala they were in for a shock as they discovered that 10 sovereigns of Gold and cash worth of 15 lakhs had been stolen. Iniya's father said that the money and jewels for being saved for her daughter's wedding.
A complaint has been registered and the investigations have begun.

- Vetrimaran added "all actors are over-rated because though the audience do come in for the movie because of the actor but if the content is missing then audience don't appreciate the movie that being the case yes all actors are over-rated"

Yesteryear actor Ramki is all set to make a comeback in Director LGR's Masani. The film is about a love affair between an upper caste hero and lower caste heroine. Being a periodic film , the script required the heroine to act without blouse.
When the above role was offered to Lakshmi Rai, She turned the role and refused to act without a blouse. However actress Iniya realized the significance of the role and immediately accepted to do the role. The film is about how spirits of murdered lovers come back to take revenge upon the entire village.

Actress Iniya embarrassed to watch her own Glamour Scenes
'Kan Pesum Varthaigal' starring Radio Mirchi Senthil and Iniya was released a few days back. A preview show was held at Prasad Lab recently for the same movie which was duly attended by Iniya and her father.
Reports have it that Iniya was too embarrassed to watch the her own glamour scenes being played, as her father was by her side, she seems to have rushed out of the theater whenever a glamour scene was played out. The onlookers report to have seen Iniya leave the theater at-least 4- 5 times during the movie.
With the heavy competition that prevails among kollywood actresses , Glamour seems to be one easy route chosen by most of the actresses.
