Actor Karthi is gearing up for his next film Komban which will be directed by Muthiah of Kutti Pulli fame. The film set in Ramanathapuram, and has Lakshmi Menon playing the female lead and Raj Kiran playing an crucial role. After Paruthi Veeran this will be the first time Karthi will sport rural get-up.

Actress Lakshmi Menon in a recent media interaction revealed she had actually decided not to sign any more movies until she finishes her 12th grade but after hearing the film's story she just could not say no and hence she signed up for the film.
