A Thalaiva Update from Australia

Ilayathalapathy's Thalaivaa is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Australia. The scenes which are being shot in Australia are for the first half of the film reveal reports, Thalaiva is said to have two different shades a jovial first half filled with romantic comedy between Vijay, Amala Paul & Santhanam and racy thrilling second half. Nirav Shah has also used two different color tone for the movie.

Sources reveal that the Audio launch can be expected sometime around May.

Nayanthara second innings in kollywood has stormed off nevertheless, Nayanthara who has done item song alongside kollywood biggies like Superstar and Ilayathalapathy was approached by the 'King of Bollywood' Shah Rukh Khan to do an item song for his 'Chennai Express' but Nayanthara turned down that offer , SRK even came forward to pay the full amount Nayanthara charges for a movie, just for this one dance but Nayan was just in no mood to do an item dance. 

However when Dhanush approached Nayanthara to do an item dance for his 'Ethir Neechal', Nayanthara duly obliged. This has left a rather sour taste in SRK's mouth. However Dhanush and Nayanthara will be seen rocking together for 'Sathiyamma Nee Ennakku Theeva Illai' song for Ethir Neechal . 
Ethir Neechal which stars Shiva Karthikeyan and Priya Anand is expected to be out sometime later this month.

As we reported yesterday , Shruti Haasan did turn down a movie offer from her dad Kamal Haasan. Shruti had been restating the fact that it was her dream to act alongside her dad , she turned the offer citing she was too busy with other project

The actress also added that she is quite busy but people are twisting the facts to make it appear that she is not in good terms with her dad.

Director Pandiraj's is currently relishing the success of "Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga" , The National Award director  has delivered a definite hit this time. Speaking at recent press meet which has held during the release of the movie , Pandiraj revealed that Bindhu Madhavi wasn't the first choice to star in the movie, he first booked another heroine for the film , but that actress laid out so many conditions.

Pandiraj also added that his movie doesn't depend on any particular heroine, instead i might even apply make up to turn a man into a women rather than wait for an actress. Pandiraj did not reveal the heroine's name in interview, but hinted to journalists to find out for themselves. 

Sources reveal that this heroine was none other than Lakshmi Menon, she had reportedly signed the movie and has asked the director Pandiraj to pause the shooting so that she can complete her 10th exams. It was at this juncture that Pandiraj had replaced her with Bindu Madhavi.

Thulasi Nair who made her dream debut in Kadal received severe criticism for her acting performance , but she did manage to bag an another project in 'Yaan' which was the directorial debut of ace cameraman Ravi K.Chandran.

In a press meet which was held for the movie , Ravi K Chandran revealed that it was Mani Ratnam and Rajiv Menon who recommended Thulasi Nair , the director also added that Yaan a romantic action entertainer will be based on the daily happenings which we come across in newspapers.

Jiiva in the same press meet revealed that he made Thulasi promise to him to not call him Uncle and also added that Thulasi is well prepared and spontaneous as she is already a product of Mani Ratnam.

I Did Not Want Vijay for my Movie - Nalan Kumaraswamy

Vijay Sethupathi, the rising star of kollywood with back to back tamil blockbusters in 'Pizza' and 'Naduvala Konjam Pakkatha Kannom' was not primary choice for 'Soodhu Kavvum' says Nalan Kumarasamy. But now after working with the actor, i have no qualms, i think no would have suited more than Vijay Sethupathi.
