Director Venkat Prabhu's currently working on the final touches to his Biriyani movie which unfortunately has been delayed for reasons unknown. The movie which was initially intended to be Vinayagar Chathurthi release has been postponed, So as the audio launch from August 15th to August 30th.
The ace director who has the esteemed privilege of both Directing and acting in a Ajith Flick (Mankatha & Ji) in recent interview revealed some interesting insights on Thala Ajith's Mankatha.
Venkat Prabhu revealed that even after the success of his cult film Chennai 600028, no big hero was willing to act in his direction, but Ajith agreed to star in his movie without even listening to the story. Venkat Prabhu also revealed that After watching Mankatha, Ilayathalapathy Vijay had called and congratulated him on the film's success and even invited him to his home.
It's worth mentioning that Venkat Prabhu initially drafted the Biriyani script for Vijay.
