Its On Again ..Thala Vs Thalapathy !!

Pongal 2014 was expected to be one the biggest events in Kollywood's recent history as it was about to witness the epic clash of Thala vs Thalapathy once again. Thala's Veeram was officially scheduled to release on Pongal after a Press release and Ilayathalapathy's Jilla was also set to release at the same time. However reports later came in suggesting the shoots were rather dragging regarding Jilla and sudden illness of Mohanlal added more problems and it looked like Jilla wasn't gonna make it for Pongal.

But the Latest update on Jilla is that Mohanlal has cancelled his shoot for a new film and allocated more dates to Jilla. Noted Film insider Sreedhar Pillai had this to say on Jilla being a Pongal release.
