Karthi as Hero and Surya As Villain !!

The latest buzz going in Kollywood is Director Mani Ratnam is currently penning a script which would bring together Surya and Karthi. It's a well known fact it was the ace director Mani Ratnam who introduced Surya under his banner in Nerukku Ner and Karthi was also his assistant Director in Aayutha Ezhuthu. 

Several Directors have tried to bring the brothers together, Even Mani Ratnam initially wanted to cast Karthi in Aayutha Ezhuthu but it was Siddarth who played the role of Arjun. Even Director Bala tried to bring Surya and Karthi together for Avan Ivan. 

Actor Suriya during the centenary celebration of Indian Cinema did an interview with Director Linguswamy  During the interview Surya revealed he was very intrested in doing a film with his brother together. Suriya added He wanted Karthi to be the Hero and he wanted to be the antagonist. Suriya explained Karthi's character as that of a finest person and described himself as a silent villain at home and wanted to showcase his villainy in the screen.
