Udhay to file a case on Kajal Aggarwal ?

Udhayanidhi Stalin who turned actor in Oru Kal Oru Kannadi continued his success streak in Idhu Kathirvelan Kathal and announced he would pair with Kajal Aggarwal for Nanbenda. There were reports that Kajal was paid an advance of Rs.40 Lakhs for the film but for reasons unknown Kajal dropped out the film and was replaced by Nayanthara.

Now the latest buzz is that Kajal when asked to return the amount has allegedly refused to part with the advance and has instead said she would be part of Udhay's next production venture. Sources add that Udhay is currently contemplating on filing a complaint against Kajal Aggarwal.

Fans a source from the Red Giant banner has officially confirmed that Udhay had indeed made a complaint. “According to TFPC rules, if an actress/actor had taken part in the film’s shoot even for a day and then removed from the film for some reason, the producer cannot demand the money paid to them until then. But in this case, Kajal did not work for us even for a day, and so, we are rightfully asking for our money back. Whenever we call her, she gives an evasive reply,” the source said.

“To be fair to her, we even offered her Udhay’s next film with Thirukumaran of Maan Karate fame, but she said she didn’t have the dates,” he added. 

T. Siva, from the TFPC, said that they had received the complaint and were ‘yet to look into the issue’.  When asked what she has to say about this, Kajal Agarwal said, “We are yet to receive the complaint letter; if I receive it, we will then take up the issue with the Artistes Association.”
