• After Pokiri Ilayathalapathy Vijay is expected to don the role of a Police Officer in Jilla.
• Mohanlal and Vijay are said to be playing Father- Son role in the film with Mahat playing as Vijay's brother.
• The movie is said to be an emotional play between Mohanlal and Vijay. The latter choosing a different path from Mohanlal will form the main crux of the story.
