Satellite rights play a huge part in determining the overall success of the movies today. The rates at which the satellite rights of tamil movies are being purchased is breathtaking. As we reported earlier Vijay's Thalaivaa was recently bought by Sun TV for 15 crores. Earlier today Head of Studio Green and recently appointed secretary of Tamil Film Producers council K.E Gnanavel Raja revealed that satellite rights of Karthi's Biriyani and All in All Azghagu Raja have been bought by Sun TV for 11.5 crores.
He also added that the satellite rights of Ajith's Veeram was sold for 13 crores while Surya's next movie was sold out for 15 crores.
