Amala Paul was Turned down by Bollywood Makers ?

Ever since Amala Paul's name got associated with the Bollywood remake of A.R.Murugadoss's Ramana, Things have gone from bad to worse for this dusky beauty. The actress who has fast risen to the A League after starring alongside Ilayathalapathy Vijay was approached for Bollywood remake of Ramana to be directed by Krish(Vedam/Vanaam) fame.

Though the actress unofficially has been denying that she was never into the project and rejected it at the initial stage due to previous commitments, Reports of a contrasting story has totally gone viral. Sources in tinsel town add that Amala Paul indeed attended the photoshoot for this remake which has been titled Gabbar, But she could not bag the role as she failed to impress the makers. Reports further add that makers felt that she would not be able to create the much-needed impact for such a crucial role. Katrina Kaif has now been selected for the 'Simran' role starring alongside Bollywood hunk Akshay Kumar.
