Thala Ajith's Arrambam releases tomorrow over 500 screens in Tamil Nadu, However confusions have arisen over the movie release in Karnataka. Theatre owners have halted the movie release in fear that certain protest may arise from the Kannada people.
People in Karnataka celebrate November 1st as a Rajyotsava ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ; Karnataka Formation Day; literally as the "Birth of the Karnataka state". Reports are that regions occupied by Tamils are usually put on alert on this day. Considering the Kaveri problem that is prevailing and the fear of protests numerous number of Police are usually placed around the area.
In regard to the various issues, The release of Arrambam movie on 31st October and November 1st has been put on hold. The movie is expected to release on 2nd November in these regions.
