Numerous reports are surrounding kollywood that director Vasanth refused to wish Ajith on his birthday. A Popular magazine decided to get some major film personalities to wish Thala on his birthday and publish it as a tribute for him on his birthday.
However when Vasanth was approached , he not only refused to wish Ajith but also remarked that the same media should try and get Ajith wish him on December 14th for his birthday , Vasanth also added that it was he who made Ajith a star with his movie Aasai.
Its worth mentioning Vasantha's Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal which was released on Thala's birthday has failed to make an impression on the box office thus far.

We wasted our time in watching that film...Vasanth lost his fame, his creativity, whole theatre was laughing on seeing a death scene because the whole story was a mess.....He wasted time on showing Vimal to the core.
