A Case against Jai & Nazriya Film

Jai-Nazriya's Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah was slated for release yesterday (May 30th) But the release was postponed at the last moment after a case was filed against the film for allegedly showing Muslims in bad light.

An outfit named Tamil Nadu Shia Muslim Jamath filed the case against the film and its producer Aascar Ravichandran. They went on claim that Aascar Ravichandran had already showed Muslims in a bad manner in his earlier film Velayudham.

Honorable Judge has ordered Aascar Ravichandran and Censor board officers to submit their reply to the court within two weeks.
